I deciphered what Noel said about STC the song the best I could. Here's what I got out of it--
** there are versions with bongo drums ** there are versions with Liam singing it ** it was originally going to be included on the STC album
Noel's comment at the Q&A in NY--
"It's a song I wrote in, let me see, about five years ago now. And we've done that many demos of it. There's like acoustic demos, but then there's demos with drums and without drums, and with bongos and .......... instruments and with Liam singing it and with me singing it. We never quite nailed it to what version that we're all happy with. But I did like the title, you know, and as the album is a kind of time out, if you like, before we do something new, Stop the Clocks just seemed to fit. And then we were gonna put that track on it and then it was kind of we couldn't be arsed, we don't got a good version of it. But it's just a great title and the songs........."
