My Maths teacher is greek so he english is not prounounced clearly just yet. She can't control the class and she talks sooooo fast that no-one in my lesson today understood what she was saying. I know she has to finish whats required in the course to teach but where's the fun when no-one understands her. And to top it off, she overheard me and my mates saying she's rubbish and we all got 30 min detention tomorrow.

I swear, i had my back turned to her and me and my mates were chatting about how the best teachers teach the lower groups(which is true) and how the crapper teachers teach the top groups(like her), i turned round and there she was, staring right at me. . I was done for.

She's so skinnny, she couldn't hurt a fly. Thats why the class is too hot for her to handle. Honestly, she really is shite. Must have been bad hearing your pupils say you suck but it's the truth. What about your maths teacher Dilly?

It must be hard being a teacher in secondry schools these days, with all you cheeky little bastards giving them non-stop agro all day.
Quite frankly, most of the school kids I see going around, Id hate to be the poor bastard that has to stand up in front of them and actually teach them something.

I'm gonna do the same. After the GCSE'S it's goodbye Maths and Science. What did you take Dilly? For GCSE I took Geography, History, ICT, Food, short course French, statistics as well as the compulsory subjects. Then for A-level I'm taking History and Double ICT. Did take Englush lit (that was hell!) but I dropped it. Teachers do get a lot of lip now, but if they're arseholes to the students you can't expect anything else. If the teachers are cool with the kids then it'll be ok for them. But my school isn't too bad so not sure about anywhere else..

I've taken Statistics. It's hard though. Did you enjoy it? I hate having all those formulas around.

Well without sounding like some relic from the far gone distant age, but see when I was at school, some of the teaches man, you gave them any kinda lip, and you could expect a board wipe, piece of chalk, pen or possibly something bigger heading for the vacinity of your forehead pretty soon afterwards. It kinda made you shit-scared of them. Kids these days, you do cant anything if they are giving you a load of abuse or worse threatening you with voilence.

I actually had to take it lol <_< I'd done the maths exam earlier then most people, and didn't go in for the higher maths exam so they put the rest of us in Stats. It was ok, not very interesting. The exam was about 3 hours though

My dad forced me to take it. I was gonna choose History. Working out all that bollocks is very tiring. Spearman's coeficient, Standard deviation, Bar and Whiskey plots, all of this is boring. Some of the kids in my class chuck paper at each other cos they are so bored senseless.

had a bad run in with a teacher when i was 9 - 11, bitch was lovly to anyone else, but an asshole to me, ive still never understood how an adult can have a grudge agaisnt a kid, long storys, but she was basically caught out, lying and stuff to get me in bother, me da got wind and went nuts, he used to be mates with my princible, but becuase the princible had no real proof either way, refused to do anything, him n me dad fell out, still bearly speak, ive always said ive never really hated annoyone, like purly hate, shes the exception,
as for other teachers, i go to a rough as fuck school, and its nout to do with teaching, if kids listen, and try, and pull the fuckin fingure out, theyll do well, not down to the teachers in honesty, i respect teachers alot, cus i often see in my place, when theyre teaching the up to GCSE years, theyre talkin to the wall, kids dont respect them, and vise versa, real shame, but its the way the kids are brought up, some strive to do well, others just want to become there parents, 2 kids by 20, married by 25. its slowly changing i guess, but its a shame, when you see people who have smarts, just not come back to do alevels, because i guess its not expected of them, whereas in some schools, with a work ethic, its expected, its seen as odd if you dont go to queens univerity.
but at the end of the day, stop blaming your teachers, or whatever, if you like them or not, theyre gonna get paid, and its you sitting the exams, if youve got a gem of a teacher, well done, dont take it for granteed, either way, work yourself, and youll reep what you sow

I have a teacher who has the right methods but someone explains it in a way which is so fast that barely anyone goes home having learnt much, even the smart ones who want to listen and try hard to do well struggle with her.

I had a board wipe come at me once, and I didnt mess with him again. Infact, we got on pretty well after that ;D

I had a part time army officer who could teach English and i rate him as one of the best teachers i've ever had, thanks to him I got 7/8 in my SATS last year, and he was hard as nails too. My new teacher is a woman but she gets respect cos she's a good teacher, and she doesn't shout at all, she got respect instantly cos she's good. In my teachers case it is the teaching because even the smart kids who are almost at A*-C level find her too fast when she teaches.

when i was doin GCSEs, i had a maths teacher who couldnt control us at all. We were right little bastards, so much so that he had to leave. Cos of us pricks, he gave up his profession. After finally growin up a bit, im so pissed off of what we/i did. This bloke was a member of mensa for gods sake! Not only did i ruinin my chance of getting a half decent maths grade, but his job which he loved. Kids today dont give a fuck if your a nice teacher or not. If they wanna disrupt the class, they will.
