That's it, a lot of girls don't have anything against gays, a lot of men do. Maybe it's because gays can be attracted to men and men think that's dirty. You know I think it's a dirty sight too, men having sex with eachother but that doesn't make me consider such people as trash. i wouldnt enjoy seeing two girls having sex but that's cos of my preferences only cos i wouldnt want to do that but i have nothing against that if a girl hits on me that's not worse than a disgusting guy hitting on me just say no thank you

One thing i've never understood, or agreed with is that why people that disagree with homosexuality, and people that explicitly hate it always get grouped under the same category of "homophobic". Explicitly hating something or someone, and quietly disagreeing with something are two completely different things. Society has too many titles now that get abused too often.

Why should people disagree with it? It's basically the same thing. What's basically the same thing? Disagreeing v. hate or homosexuals v. heterosexuals?

What's basically the same thing? Disagreeing v. hate or homosexuals v. heterosexuals? Disagreeing and hating. Hate is a strong word I don't hate my friend just cos i disagree with him on a certain issue. And if someone grew up with religion and was taught to disagree with homosexuality what's wrong with that? I personally could care less if someone is gay or not, just don't shove it down my throst (no pun intended)

Spot on. No rebuttal.

I HAVE NEVER cared who people chose to love or have sex with.. we all know that many of our gay and lesbian friends were born that way and they are who they are.. Got acquaintances who swing both ways... to each his/her own.. I work with children who have 2 moms or 2 dads.. they certainly were WANTED and are loved/cared for.. that is all that matters..
just sorry to see people take advantage of this issue of Gay marriage prior to elections. what's that got to do with anything dealing with war, economy, JOBS, education , environment ? Nothing.. End of sermon...

i'm glad that same-sex marriage was legalised in Canada it's not a big deal, and it was ridiculously unfair that they were denied the same rights as straight couples for so long (ex. tax benefits, insurance breaks)

Hopefully the right of the world will move on a bit to the center and we'll all finally be equals. Sex is just sex.

And if someone grew up with religion and was taught to disagree with homosexuality what's wrong with that? they have their right to free speech, but when you try to make a constitutional amendment banning gays from marrying, that crosses the line. especially in america, where we value the, ahem, "separation between church and state".

I'm a registered republican and I don't hate gays. I don't agree with it, but I don't go out persicuting them or look at them any diffrent they're still people what they choose to do in there time is fine by me. If I get hit on I just tell um straight up that I'm not gay, but I don't give them shit.
