After not being around here as much as I used to be, I decided to post another song again. It's a duet and when I wrote it I wanted it to be a duet and I've actually got someone else singing in it as well. From what I've heard so far is that it reminds people of Like A Rolling Stone, so that influence must've slipped inside my head at some time, as I never listen to Bob Dylan's songs, so maybe it was on some commercial or something and I picked it up, I don't know. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!! Story Of A Lifetimedownload.yousendit.com/CCB173C113797BAF- Superseb

bit harsh and hardly constructive wasnt shit at all imo. Very Dylan-esq and frankly i have to call you a downright liar for saying you're not influenced by him! the vocals, melody, harmonica...very much in the Dylan vein. also reminded me of the Beautiful south, mainly coz of the duet aspect. i quite liked it - lacked originality and the chorus was bit too on the happy side of loved up for my tastes. but good for an easy listen,. and quite well made - how do you record? on your pc?

I'm nowhere to denying that it's not Dylan influenced, just that it's not intentional It's just that I never listen to Dylan's songs so I must've picked it up somewhere (And I don't know if you've heard any other songs I've written, this is a complete different tune compared to all the others, never written anything like this before). As for the harmonica I practically nicked it from a Dutch band called Skik, just altered it a bit in places and voila, you got a different tune for the harmonica As for recording, I record everything through a microphone on the pc yes. As for the lyrics, I'm never spending too much time on them, and for this song I just had some average corny scene from a really average romantic movie in my mind, so that explains the happy side in the chorus. Thanks for the comments really appreciate that.

thats great as usual superseb and for the record, I hear "like a rolling stone" all over it which isn't necessarily a bad thing

Can you still recall the name of that song? Or what was it like (was there "piano" in it? etc etc)
