Hey guys !
SuperSeb and me will do a gig next thursday in Groningen (Holland). We'll play some oasis covers as for a Oasis tribute, in front of 150 people. We gonna do an acoustic set. Right now we've planned to do
Turn Up The Sun The Quiet Ones Let There Be Love
(and if we are very lucky, we can do Wonderwall as well)
People will record the gig on video (and will take pictures) Soon you'll find it on this threat !
Keep yourself focused !
CHEERSAH !

There's a lot happening at the moment. Aldo we haven't released a lot lately, we are very busy doing some good stuff. Till now SuperSeb and me have released some stuff on acoustic and piano, just the two of us. We've already formed a complete band now, soon we will begin to practice and writing and recording and so on. Already got lots of songs written that we can do.
Last weeks I already wrote some songs :
`Be The Change You Want To See In The World`
This song is like Let There Be Love in a way, you can make it sooo big. It got that John Lennon filosophy. The quote `be the change you want to see in the world´ is by Gandhi. I got a lot of respect for that man. Gandhi made me move to right this song. In my eyes the song is a combination of Imagine by John Lennon, The Sceintist by Coldplay, and Let There Be Love by Oasis. Already recorded a live try out of the song. Low quality .. but it´s just to have a global view of how the song could sound like when we record it proper and with more instruments. I`ll upload it this week so you can listen if your interested.
`Universal Star`
I wrote this song for a very very good friend of mine. He has been in a conflict with himself about himself and the way he lives is life. He´s gay and got some trouble to life with that. He accepts the fact that he´s gay, the thing is, he feels a lot of shame, and doesn´t know how be feel happy, being himself. Gay people already got a hard time to find their place in the community. The songs is ment to that friend of mine, and all the other gay people. It says that you have to be yourself, have listen to your heart, gotta do what you want. Living you dream, and not letting other people influence you by their judgement. The way the lyrics are written can be seen as the way Noel wrote Hindu Times. It has a bit of a WLYD mood.
`I Know Exacly What I Do `
About young guys around 18 years old that quet school and go in the army, without knowing how dangerous this work can be. About being naïve about that. About leaving all you love to fight for peace and worship, without knowing the meaning and worth of live. Could have been a song for Woodstock ... At least it got that mood over it. I´d seen a documantary about two young soldiers just 19 years old, that we in Iraq to help in a medical way. The Iraqese shot them, burned them alive, kicked the bodies in peaces, dragged the black scorched bodies through the streets for miles and hang them on a bridge where they thruw stones on them, to finally rotten them away there. That had such an impact on me, and started to think bout all those guys around that age that get in the army ... without knowing what they exactually expected to do ...
´The Sunshine In The Tree`
Song about the love of my life. Very personal, and a to long story to explane. It´s what i felt about all what have been happened this last year. Comes right from the heart ... Could be seen as a mix between Let´s All Make Believe and The Importance Of Being Idle.
Got more songs written as well, but haven´t finished the yet. Sebastiaan writes lots of songs as well, so we got a lot to do :-)
Future looks bright ... keep us in mind ...

I'm going to end up playing Let There Be Love and one of my own songs: She Leaves Her Day I think. And then with the schoolband I'll probably play Merry christmas by Slade. It's really shit that I only got room for 2 songs!! ;D I wish I could do a set of 5 songs...
