Ok, Ingo needs a new guitar amp. What does Noel use? Anyone have any good suggestions? I am looking at spending about 400quid. Give me suggestions. I am looking at Marshall and Behringer. Tips?

Try a Marshall avt50.it sounds great and can keep up in a gig.I have one and love it.Its the best for the money imo.

Also have a Marshall. Quality amp, a little grainy on clean setting but awesome Overdrive.

I have an AVT50 too and while it's definitely loud enough for gigging, the sound is quite poor to my ears, and there's not a whole lot of variation in it. The clean channel in particular is very bland. There are better amps available for the same price - try Fender, or if you're looking for a heavier sound, Hughes & Kettner. I'm talking about AVTs here, not Marshall in general. If you can get a second hand JCM800 or something go for that.

I would go with either a Fender Blues Junior like the guy above me said or a fender hot rod deluxe. The hot rod would be a little bit more than an avt50, but the amp is much better. The fender amps have a lot more tone and sound better since they're both all tube amps. They don't have as much distortion as the Marshall, but that's not a problem if you have a good distortion pedal.
