hey, got a band that covers oasis and does original songs, the problem is i need a good original song to start the gigs, something like hello or rock n roll star, so if anybody can lend me some ideas or song they don't use and the tablature, i'd be thankfull

It's not original if it's not your song. Not to be negative, but how are you going to get anywhere if you're going on music forums asking people for their music? There is a little factor called talent that allows you to come up with your own ideas. If you have it, then stand up and show the world.

I'd say a song with a good strong riff is a good way to start a gig.

time of your life?? hell no!
do something brash and arrogant, saying "I'm here, and you better fuckin listen"
like a rolling stones song or ac/dc.
i would tell you what my band does, but i'd rather have my band do it without somebody using it. but it's by a very heavy rock-blues band.

I'd love to have the Go Let It Out demo (with the Austin Powers Quote) as an opening song (played from a CD)
i'd say start with Acquiesce or Step Out
