hey everyone, nice to meet you all... Wife bought me a geetar for Xmas and I've been strumming it everyday since - absolutely loving it, to be honest it's taken over my life!!!
Been downloading easy 3/4/5 chord tabs for all over the internet and I'm progressing well and having amazing fun. I've read a couple of threads here regarding Oasis songbooks and I visited Musicroom.com this afternoon only to get completely confused by the amount of Oasis titles on offer.
So, as you've probably guessed, I was wondering if you lovely lot would be able to give me your recomendations?
Thanks

cheers guys, so do you think that I'd be better off buying the complete oasis songbook rather than say the "Oasis": Easy Guitar: TAB songbook?
I think I've already made up my mind but I'd just like an opinion...

I started with the Easy Chords series years ago when Definately Maybe came out. It was OK but the net can give you just as good tabs. I would go for the Complete Chord Songbook as its got all the songs right up to now. www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1844491374/qid=1110985619/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_11_1/202-2695639-4719055You can still get additional variation versions off the net as Noel plays a lot of his acoustic stuff different ways. This is a good starter to keep you more than busy. Cheers. Ave it.

Cheers for that Mr Sifter... I'm looking at the Amazon site right now and I want to take advantage of the free delivery - well actually it's just an excuse to buy another songbook.
I was wondering if you, or anyone else, might be able to suggest a general songbook with various songs in it... something along the lines of Essential Acoustic

Are you talking multi artist (I guess?) There are loads of busker books out there with loads of easy tunes but you can get em off the net for free - Check Guitar Tab Universe www.guitartabs.cc/Seems pointless spending the cash for no reason........ Cheers

Thanks mate, I've been looking at the multi-artist songbooks and they mostly contain songs I either don't like or even know...
I will continue, as you suggested, to use the tab sites... they haven't failed me yet!!!
