I have been recently thinking about buying a 12 string acoustic. I currently have a Stevie Ray Vaughn Fender Stratocaster (my pride and joy), Epiphone Les Paul Standard, and a Fender DG-16 Acoustic. I play through a Fender Cyber Champ (It rules. Loud as hell and it can sound like a million different amps). I am looking to round out my collection with a 12 string (It would be great for all the Oasis acoustic songs). Any suggestions?

That guitar sounds decent now, it would probably make it sound better! I am a huge Fender fan (I love Strats and Teles) but their acoustics are shit. I do not recommend them. If I don't get a 12 string I am looking at a lower end Martin or Taylor.

Ive played on a 12 string Martin and theyre tops, id go for that. although i think it may be more expensive. Ive also played on a £120 Westfield which blew me away so dont go for the names. try some of the ceap ones too, you might be pleasantly surprised

i have a crafter 12 string- bought it when the wood was still "moist", so as its dried the sound has got a lot richer, - (you can hear every note) and it sounds amazing! a joy to play! -just difficult to keep in tune ;D

Yeah, i think the Fender acoustic I have may have bad craftmanship so it may be just my guitar. It sounds really great in the lower frets but it is bad near the 12th fret. I even adjusted the truss rod a few times to no avail. My buddy owns an all maple Fender acoustic and it sounds great.
