Hey i'm a solo artist and on a coupla gigs ive played this song i think the orginal is in c however it suits my voice better in G
i play
G - 320033 G/F# - 2x0033 Cadd9 - x32033 D - xx0232
G G/F# When The Night Has Come
Em And The Land Is.......
Cadd9 D And The Moon Is The Only, Light Will See
think this maybe the way John Lennon does it not sure though

i think the orginal is in c the original is in A. (that's also lennon's version) basic structure, nearly the whole song (typical 1-4-5): A--F#m--D--E7--A
