is it just me or do alot of the images on this site not show up!!! for example the graphic to show a new post doesn't appear for me On closer examination it seems to be the board images from live4ever.org that i can see and the ones from 4d5.net/boardimages/ i see a red x.......

yeah, this is the only site i've ever had this problem.............it's weird that it's only images on one of your servers..........and weirder still, if i right click on the red x and get it's URL, and paste the url into a browser window then i can see the images..........i'm confused. when i first joined i thought it was just the site........but then i realised it was just me............. any ideas? this is how i see the site

don't know what's going on but I can tell you that most of those red x's are from gif's stored on the proboard server and not my l4e.org server. Some graphics program which runs in your browser doesn't perform correctly on this site , are you using explorer ?

well i figured it out any way, but i'll explain incase anyone ever comes to you with this problem again... i could never download through your antil leech system before... so i assumed these 2 problems must be connected...... any way it turns out that your images are protected from bandwidth theft like your download section via tracing the http referrer... norton internet security software has the automatic setting of blocking http referrers, i just changed this setting................. sorted...............................

Glad it's fixed.

Glad it's fixed. i checked most of the images that wern't displaying and they all where from 4d5.net/it's not an anti leech program, some servers automatically check for a http referrer, i think this is the case with 4d5.net by the way, thanks for your help
