id like to make my own video gifs but can't find any freeware progs that do this...
any help or links to websites would be great

.....or i have jpgs and bmps that could be made into a gif, (no gaps between images so its viewed like a moving image) but i just need a free program that could do that.

try www.download.com and searching for 'ulead gif animator 5'. Or use a programme like kazaa to search for it.

Gifcon is quite a good program for making gifs

most of the gifs i make are from dv tapes that i have filmed myself. then the frames are extracted from video. the prog i use is Babarosa Gif Animator 3.6, which it says is sharewhere and puts a watermark on the gif, (but i cant see one) - <---------------------------------------------------- easy to use and gifs look just great. need help? lemmie know. if the video is small enough to email, i could prob do it for ya if i was bribed!
