AAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!!
This thing is so annoying, i cant get rid of it. It pops up everytime i open my homepage.
Its this blue little toolbar that gives me the option to search for things, and its slowing things down
Ive tried changing my homepage, and it didnt go away, so its not the homepage.
I cant uninstall it through add/remove programs, and none of my spyware stuff has got rid of it

have you used your VIEW settings in Internet Explorer and unchecked the toolbar ?
also if you know when you downloaded the toolbar you can backstep your browser to the way it was the day before it was installed (task manager , updates )
good luck

found this on the netpumper support page :
We don't bundle any spyware or hidden bundles, only adware. We don't pack it with as much as possible, but it's hard to find the perfect mix and we are changing the bundles from time to time. The alternative to adware would be shareware only and no free version.
What currently is included is: - Cydoor banners. That's the banners showing up inside the software when you run them. - Clocksync. A bundle that sync your computer clock and also deliver ads when visiting specific websites. - A search toolbar. This can be uninstalled without problems.
That's it. We never had more adware included than this and we are considering removing the search toolbar and replace it with something optional.
Every SaveNow ad contains a link to instructions on how to uninstall.
If you wish to uninstall the SaveNow Pop-up ad feature, you can easily do so in the following manner:
From the Windows Start button select Settings and then Control Panel. When the Control Panel window opens, double-click on the Add/Remove Programs icon. When the Add/Remove Programs Properties window opens, locate SaveNow in the list of installed programs. Click on it one time and then click on the Add/Remove button. Follow the prompts until uninstall is complete.

I think all these problems are related to your regular porn site visits ;D

try deleting your cookies. it's hard to get your settings back the way you want it, but it's a last resort.

Luckily I've changed to XP recently, and now all my problems are gone.
