Hi,
Can anyone direct me to any Free software on the Internet that I can use to Rip my CD tracks into mp3 format. I know Windows Media Player does this but it only rips tracks into wma and 64 Kbs quality.
If anyone can help I'd be really grateful.

i use ALTO mp maker.. its kinda crap... long time ago i used this mad cd ripper program dat automatically delete long "silence" files usually at the end of the track... like for example i extract Pink's "trouble" single for my GF, with alto the looooong silence at the end of it still there, but with that program, its A-ok.. its somewhere under the ruble in my room
but theres an option that legally speakin i do not recommend... but for "knowledge sake":
go to P2P dat u have search, CD ripper, or somewhere along those line....
see p2p is not only a good source to share porns... i mean... err.... prawns... What the hell.... wateva

www.jetaudio.com works awesome. I can rip stuff from any source ....desktop, audio in on my computer, from any cd, media player you name it. One bad thing it only rips into Wav format. I have a roxio Cd Burner program that does the trick as well. Good luck !! Karma
