Use a in-ear system is horrible, so I understand Liam in that statement. But you can't really blame the in-ear system for your bad singing. And the thing about Noel's loud amps is bullshit. You don't need to cut off lines because of that. BUT Noel's guitar is always very loud, that's must be said.

Peter, Bjorn And John's new album seems to be good. Out any day now I think. If you haven't heard them, I recommend you to check them out. Great pop band with very great melodies. You've probably heard their song "Young Folks".
The last album was a disappointment, though.

I've tried and tried to "learn" me to like The Strokes, but I can't. (Heart In A Cage, Reptilia and Razorblade are allright, though). Really boring sound and pretty mediocre songs in my opinion. The new album is even more boring than their other albums. Hate the flat production.
Sorry, didn't mean to slag the band off. I understand that people like them. But they're not my cup of tea.

Better than expected, but only an "OK" album for me.

Liked 3 songs from the album. The last one most, Somebody Else's Child. Beautiful song. The rest was pretty boring to be honest.

Sounds so good! They nailed it! I didn't think they could do this song justice live, but I were wrong.

Good the hear! And they've kept Two Of A Kind, and For Anyone is in the setlist again. That's nice.

Revolution Song - the unreleased version is beautiful even in it's current form, but could do with some touching up Record Machine - I want the full guitar laden epic version of this. I like the demo form, but it has even more potential. Could use a re-working of some of the lyrics, too. STC - A bit dreary in current form, but good lyrics - and the outro vibe is good. If he can format the outro sound to the entire song, this could be a masterpiece. If There's A God - I know we've only heard a couple seconds of it, but the melody is brilliant. If I Had a Gun - Beautiful ---- ---- I don't really care for God Help Us All. Not my cup of tea. At least not the soundcheck version of it....maybe Noel can rework it so the magic can be right ;-) "If There's A God" is "God Help Us All".

God Help Us All. (Everybody seems to call it "If There's A God", but Noel said in an interview in 2009, with the swedish Oasis forum Oasisgeneration, that the song is called God Help Us All). The song that he sings on the soundcheck, in the Lord Don't Slow Me Down dvd. And If I Had A Gun sounds very promising.

Two journalists from Sweden (Filip and Fredrik) have a podcast, and one of them lives in L.A at the moment. And in todays podcast Filip said that he and some friends ran into Noel in a pub in L.A. They had a chat with him, and he told them that he's mixing his album! Filip showed Noel the clip with Vladimir Putin singing "Blueberry Hill" on Youtube. Noel laughed loud! Haha.
So this is really official now! Can't wait to here Noel's stuff.

I say no because I think they ended the whole Oasis thing with a pretty great album and that the band split up just overnight, with a fight. That was the right thing. I don't want them to do a big "Goodbye tour". I think that's pretty lame. But maybe I change my mind in a few years, who knows.

I really hope the album is mainly acoustic. He can't really sing the rockers so well. Noel don't have the rawness in his voice to make a rock 'n' roll tune fantastic! Like Liam can. BUT Noel is amazing when he sing songs like The Importance Of Being Idle, with a semi-acoustic sound.
