Wigwam was absolutely fantastic! The whole show was great, Liam and the band did a great job tonight!

Haha. Tom really need one of these things Liam had in the beginning of the Beady Eye tour, to read the lyrics on.

I just asked them if they're working on Noel's page. Will see if they give me a reply tomorrow.

Woods. They have a folky/pop experimental sound with the feel from the 60's. Their new album was a little disappointment, but the previous albums are pretty good.

Don't like the title at all! But who cares as long as the music's good. This news could be real, btw. Seems legit.

I could only choose Rapidshare, and there wasn't the file available. Weird. Thanks for the link!

I wrote that the link on that blog doesn't work anymore. Anyway, guess I need to google things better later. Maybe I'll find it.

I think the problem with Morning Glory is the production really. (For me it is, anyway) The studio version is really, really noisy. I rarely listen to it. I personally prefer the live versions of the song. The Morning Glory Dave Sardy Mix is the best version of MG you will ever find, it was remastered by him for that movie Goal!, you can clearly hear all the instruments, he took out the loudness. Where can I find that version? The link on rkid blog is not working.

They seems to do a similar thing for this album, and release the most hip hop-ish tune from the album first. (Like with Vlad The Impaler) I'm a little disappointed at the moment, but I hope it grows on me. Very electric sound this time. Sounds like something from the first album. Don't know if that's positive or not.

Grower: Gas Panic. I knew there was something special about it when I first heard it but it didn't hit me until much later. It's got an appealing psychedelic darkness that takes time to seep into you (through your curtains). Agreed. Didn't like it at first (too long, to psychedelic/dark) but really loving it now. Love the FMT version as well! I also find it strange that so many list MG as one of the 'shrinkers'. I love that song!! Brilliant guitar intro & then Liam kicks of with 'All you dreams are made....' with that voice of him! And then 'What's the story? Morning Gloryyyy" which everyone can shout along! Awesome!! I think the problem with Morning Glory is the production really. (For me it is, anyway) The studio version is really, really noisy. I rarely listen to it. I personally prefer the live versions of the song.

How can a band go from this fantastic piece of music: to this new shit that they released yesterday? A mystery for me.

It's rubbish... rubbish! Miss the old Coldplay, when they had songs with good melodies, great chorus to the songs. And played real instruments. Now it's all so computer-ish, and identity resolved. And the guitar work sounds like Strawberry Swing, which feels kinda lazy. I've lost hope of Coldplay now. I accepted that they wanted to try something new with Viva La Vida in 2008 and liked the album at the time (even though the album hasn't stand the test of time), but now I want them to make real pop music again. Like with the second album. Which I really like!

Good to hear. First the wedding, then some weeks off. A honeymoon or something like that. THEN it's time for Noel to begin the hype around the album.

Not a big fan, but I looking forward to the album. Hope they have a little new touch to their sound. I got tired of the last album kinda fast.

Shure all the way, I think. Most of the time anyway. Sometimes other microphones on some Tv shows etc.
Think he have used: SM58 (or whatever it was called back then) in the early days, and BETA 57a in later years. Now he seems to use SM58 again, in later gigs with Beady Eye.

Actually, the news emerged last week. I had posted it here I remember ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/1258801/images/A9bL_RjIN9bOhnrQxKjN.gif) There's also a radio interview set to be broadcasted in June on RDS. It seems they played Millionaire and The Roller as international guests. Ok, thank you for the info, man! Weird I missed it, I visit this site many times every day.
