I used to work for a promoter for MMA and kickboxing. I would score MMA fights, but best part was doing weigh ins. Some of those boys don't like wearing undies. Oh wait, only Caro and Pixie would appreciate that bit of knowledge. Sorry.

I watched that reality series they had on Spike where they had teams with the participants would compete for a contract with UFC. Was entertaining. Especially seeing Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz talking trash

I saw the lead up for tonight's fight this morning on SportsCenter, not really my thing, especially for $50.
The one guy seems like a badass, though - don't remember which fighter, he does some cool moves.
God bless.

Jones vs Cormier was great, first couple of rounds were pretty much even then it leaned in Jones favour.
Can't wait for 183, Silva/Diaz should be great

When they are just holding on the ground it can be boring but sometimes they are setting them up for submissions and that can be exciting. There is plenty of holding in boxing too. Sometimes its after every few punches. I dont know if you can watch this on your phone or tablet but this is a great match. versusmixedma.blogspot.com/2013/11/jon-jones-vs-alexander-gustafsson-fight.htmlThere is almost no holding. Five, five minute rounds of punches, kicks, elbows , and knees. Too me they are better athletes than boxers because they need to do more than just punch and move. I'm not a huge fan of the sport but it has more going for it right now than boxing which unfortunately is dying.

DC ran out of gas at the end. I think he thought Jones wouldnt be able to take his flurries and wouldnt need to go five. If Gustafasson can win his next match I'd love to see him and Jones fight again. This is Silvas first fight after he snapped his leg in half correct? Will be interesting to see how he comes back from that.

It is, I honestly thought he'd retire but he's made it back somehow, they've been out of the game for a fair few months so it should be a toss up, though Silva's gonna have to make sure he protects that leg so that's one more thing to worry about. I'm probably backing Silva
