I have fancied over the recent few years for England to take it but gladly they have always come up short! Fancy Wales to take it this year but as always hope Ireland can surprise me once again (Watch England win it now!) The 6 Nations is the only really time I like watching rugby, couldn't give a toss about the world cup really. I've as usual set up a fantasy team for this, if anyone else is playing give me a shout for a mini league

England top of the table. I think we should end it now before we have the opportunity to fuck it up.

France were even less convincing! Ireland and Wales game was very good despite giving away a 13 point lead! Both teams going for it at the end. Should eb a close tournament

Should eb a close tournament England were average but never looked like loosing. Italy have the same problem they have has for years, they don;t have a good kicker and that looses them close games. Ireland and Wales as expected was the game of the weekend and a draw seemed the right result. And everyone needs to practice their drop kicks as there were some poor attempts this weekend.

Gutted that Paul O'Connell has had to retire, another legend of the sports career is over.

Gutted that Paul O'Connell has had to retire, another legend of the sports career is over. A top player and a real gentle giant off the field.

France v Ireland Wales v Scotland Italy v England
The first game of the weekend is the most interesting match, you can never be sure what you will get from France, and whilst i think Ireland will win it should be a close game. In the other two games i expect a comfortable victory for Wales and England. Until Italy get a good place kicker they are destined to be at the bottom of the pile.

France v Ireland 16-23 Wales v Scotland 30-6 Italy v England 12-21 Going with the favourites once again, will use the handicaps on the tree games to keep interesting (none, -10, +16) Can see both Ireland and Wales building on their game last weekend and hopefully France will still be in disarray come Saturday. When Italy start strong they usually continue so don't see England running away with it. As you said they won't be a threat until they get a kicker on board.

Hurry up NFL season so I can win a bet once more! Haven't have anything worthwhile from football even in ages!! Missed the first half of the Engalnd Italy game but the penalty that would of given them the lead was a turning point. Score that for 12-9 or whatever and it would of gave them a bit of hope but minutes later it was an intercepted pass for a try then the floodgates opened. Ireland were battered with injuries and could not hold on with their second string and it looks like the championship will be out of reach now. England next in a must win game but still mightn't be enough. Only saw the opening of the Wales/Scotland game but turned out to be a cracker of a match apparently

^ First half of England v Italy was very poor from both teams, so you didn't miss out.
Wales v Scotland was an excellent match with the predictable result of Scotland showing great promise and then letting it slip.
As for Ireland they needed to score more when they had the upper hand in the first half.
