I feel like that hasitleaked tweet is just the info from the acoustic album and a hopeful dream. Shock me once again. i feel like if they’re gonna do it it’s gonna be a full blown album or nothing. i think they’ll have pressure on them bc of how the stone roses went and they obviously have 100x more expectation. the whole reunion will either be this one off tour or it will be them back as a band

Didn’t Noel say, before the reunion was announced, that new material wouldn’t be released until 2026. I assumed he meant the next NGHFB album…

I’m guessing an album will depend on how well the gallaghers are getting on. I’m 100% certain we’ll get a new single though. Even if they aren’t really speaking it would take little effort for liam to do vocals on one track.

The brothers need to be careful of the brand and legacy. No doubt there are quality songs in Noels locker but we live in a different age and everything they do/release now will be highly scrutinized - Just look at Liam's performance at the boxing
I also question the timing...for me any new album would have to be done and dusted before this now mammoth world tour starts.
Don't get me wrong I'd love it to happen but there's an old saying - Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Yeah, cos Heathen Chemistry, Don't Believe The Truth and DOYS did wonder for their legacy. you can’t judge them on those albums tho, i would say they were good albums for a band that did what they did. none of the other “britpop” bands got that far in their career and those albums were a reflection on the progression of what they did, whether good or bad. i think doys is one of their best so i may be biased but i don’t think you can judge any future material based on what they released after they were at their peak

? Yeah, cos Heathen Chemistry, Don't Believe The Truth and DOYS did wonder for their legacy. Dig Out Your Soul I'll give you...but then maybe Noel has something to prove/improve on from that? However some songs from those later albums could be played live in 25 - Number 1 singles, bangers that still mean alot to so many.. so Legacy intact! SCYHO Songbird Little By Little TIOBI Lyla Turn Up The Sun Let There Be Love TSOTL I'm Outta Time Now do you want to talk about the Stone Roses new music?

The guy who told me back in spring about the reunion is pretty sure there’ll be a new album. But that would be for after the reunion gigs, right?

SCYHO is their 4th most streamed song, with nearly 100m more plays than Live Forever! artists.spotify.com/songwriter/7rFkzn5qPrcLHgxtiTOYj9Little By Little has more plays than classic singles like C&A and SMS. History looks back favourably on Heathen Chemistry despite it being hated here. I want the comeback album to be near perfect, but it’ll do well enough as long as it has good singles. I think they have it in them to do that at the very least.

I'm not as certain as some of you are about the 8th album being a fact, but Noel mentioned in a fairly recent interview (i think it was the pedal show maybe) that if the band ever got together people would demand a new album and he would find curious to write for Oasis after such a long time. That and his stadium album make me a bit optimistic.
And hell yeah I want a new album. People may diss the later albuns but if I get anything remotely as good as Bag It Up, The Turning, Falling Down, TIOBI, SCYHO I'll be on the moon and fuck all critics.

The Rolling Stones still release new music, that’s no where near what they did years ago and their legacy is just fine….no insane person expects a Definitely Maybe or What's the Story) Morning Glory?, as long as it’s not embarrassing they’ll be fine….
God bless.

I don't want to hear a new album on this tour. I want to hear the songs I literally never thought I would hear live again for as long as I live.
I do want a new album. Release it after the tour. Imagine two years of new Oasis stuff after it was all thought to be dead and buried with a year of touring and a year of new music being released.
I can hardly imagine.

I want to be demolished by a 90-100 min set of their biggest hits with some of the fan favorite heavier/rocking tunes.

Man, stuff Noel has been writing for the last decade.. If he can go from this to writing a proper Oasis record, he truly is a celestial motherfucker.

Some one once told me: take a fun job seriously, and take a serious job with a little bit of humor…. If a new album was released, they’d play about two songs off it for the reunion, the reunion setlist will be dominated by greatest hits…. God bless.

Slow is known to have been re-recorded by NG around 2020 for the scrapped acoustic album. The others I would say are fake, the titles just read to me like generic fan guesswork. "Tomorrow Isn't Today" surely must be a wind-up, seeing as the acronym is T-I-T. 🤣

In an ideal world, they would do the celebratory reunion, a setlist full of all the classics everyone wants to hear again. No room for new tracks given its 16 years since anyone heard them perform.
And then take a breather before releasing a new album, back on the album release/touring that album merry go round.

Slow is the best song Noel Gallagher ever wrote. And it will never be topped. Hauntingly beautiful.

Has to be fake, no brackets. 1. Time Is Now 2. Wake Up (& Dream) 3. Next To Nothing 4. The Way We Were 5. Slow 6. Tomorrow (Isn’t Today)
