I want both to feature… somehow. (Not necessarily at the same time). Oasis songs are elevated when there’s either an Orchestra and/or Choir.
Fuck knows what they are going to do. Hence the poll. I think both is overreaching so for now I’m going to vote for Choir only. Surely both would be way too much to travel with (?).
Summat new to talk about lol.

I want these concerts to be as big as the stadiums they are playing in… a good stage setup, some cool lighting effects, a bigger production than the solo projects, and a full sound from an orchestra and/or choir. Throw the kitchen sink at it, Noel! You’ll never get this kind of chance ever again.

I’m actually wishcasting a bit here by splitting the difference. But probably Neither if I’m being more honest - the travel and setup would surely be too costly and time consuming. And the travel would be difficult. Still not changing my vote from a choir as Noel has really grown to like choirs since 2005.

I don’t think there will be anything. Maybe bring back the harmonica dude?

And the travel would be difficult. Still not changing my vote from a choir as Noel has really grown to like choirs since 2005. They've already grossed nearing if not over £ 1/2 billion on 30ish gigs. Acts that are charging in the same price bracket they are for this tour put on huge 'stage shows' so while dont think they'll go overboard think they do have to step their game up at least for the casuals that got tickets its 2024 just what these types of gigs are now

Ideally none of that, or if they have to do something, just some strings on a few songs like Wonderwall and The Masterplan. No need for a choir at all, it's a fun change for a one-off thing like the electric proms gig but not for this tour.
If I had to guess I think it'll be a fairly stripped back rock n' roll show – big screens and visuals, but nothing like the stage props of Liam's DM tour. A setlist (and sound) close to the 10th anniversary gigs, songs largely coming from 94-96 and blasted through in a guitar-heavy way without too many frills on top.

You’re getting drug tested, if I got suspended from the forum for tequila and Mexican beer then you’re getting suspended for marinara use…. God bless.

This thread made me realize we need a Live '25 Unplugged, similar in arrangement to Liam's unplugged from 2019. That one was great redemption for Liam after bailing in '96, but this one would be legendary.

Yes, let the Dame Shirley Bassey sing a duet for Wonderall (I like her and respect her btw).
Oasis never had any spectular stage set except the band logo. On their last DOYS tour they had a screen behind them, but that's all.
I don't need a circus, but a gig of my favourite band. Though similar to what they did with Round Are Way and Whatever live would be beautiful.

Tight budget, tight profit on this one. Maybe a string quartet or Bonehead playing the strings on a keyboard.
maybe even a drum machine.

Depends on the songs. Orchestra for songs like Whatever and All Around The World if they made the cut

I'd guess there might be an orchestra for Wonderwall, The Masterplan and so on. The stage set won't be anything like BHN or Liam's DM anniversary tour. Very stripped back with lights and video screens only. Maine Road/Knebworth style.

Let’s have both but if there are really no interviews until the tour, we’re going to be making bets on the choir line-up in no time.

Lord I hope not. With Oasis, I feel like strings and choir either add too little to the songs or add too much. The melodies are naturally beautiful on their own. They don’t really need the extra oomph. Most times, in fact, I’d say they make the songs incredibly sluggish.
