New Complete 7 inch Vinyl Box sets planned for Japan in October and November, pressed exclusively for Sony Japan in two volumes , 3000 of each so would imagine the sleeve reproduction and pressing quality, and the over all packaging will be top draw as always. Think it is Japan only, only ordered vol 1 so far as would imagine that will go quicker. Wish it would have been a 12 inch set or the albums but they do look really nice. They’re available on CD Japan, HMV Japan, Tower Records. www.sonymusic.co.jp/artist/Oasis/info/567414

A brilliant release. Love this. The packaging and overall quality of the product will be second to none as per the other recent Sony Japan releases.
We've become used to the albums being reissued, but in 30 years how many of the singles have been reissued? I can think of the recent Supersonic pearl edition, the RSD 12", and Some Might Say and Whatever 12" were included with the Chasing the Sun box sets ordered from the official store. Any others I'm missing?
Anyway, my point is, the singles are very rarely reissued. And if I could choose anyone to reissue them, it would be Sony Japan. One of each ordered.

Pretty interesting that both of the Stop The Clocks EPs are included, but the I'm Outta Time remix one isn't. Actually, this isn't interesting at all.
But it is a bit of a shame, if I may complain pointlessly as I can't afford either sets, that they put only one B-side on each 7". That way, we miss out on quite a few classics like Shout It Out Loud.

I need to know more about these remasters -- if these are brand new, and not the Chasing the Sun versions, there could be something really special on the way for all fans.

I was wondering about this as well reading the Sony Japan website, reading it it’s sounds like they have been given a new remaster by Sony Japan just for these sets, this is what it said from the site - A total of 63 songs in Vol.1 and Vol.2 are included in the latest remastered sound source in 2024, which has been newly mastered and re-cut for this BOX. From cutting to stamper creation to pressing, it will be a domestic integrated production disc of Sony Music Group.

I mean, this like $30 for each 7”. Even if you wanted to resell it the format won’t do you any favors. Some of these were never even released on 7 inch. You’re almost better off looking for originals or some of the few reissues that came out over the years. 700 bucks for both of these is nuts. If it were the 12 inches with all the bsides this might be worth it.

Would "Don't Stop" be included it could have been worth it, since we're still waiting for a physical release.

Once these sell out and go out of print I don’t think you will have any problem making a profit, the Japanese sets like these always demand high interest with collectors.

Besides I still have all of the original UK 7' vinyl singles (as well as all of the cd singles) and these Japanese vinyls are way to expensive for what they are and I didn't even buy the original Japanese 7' vinyl boxed set for the same reason.

It’s the nearest thing you are going to get to a full set of original singles in mint condition compared to paying the earth for a battered old original on eBay, they will replicate the original sleeves down to the last detail, these will be premium sets.

Who could resist?

Wish the stands represented the years of the band (94 to 98) and (2000 to 2008) and not just stills from the wonderwall video

I was posting the same. I have that complete CD single box set and it's one of my most precious Oasis items. I did buy DM, MG, BHN and TMP vinyl in different colours which were Japan exclusive a couple of years ago. It costs me fortune, but they're brilliant. I have no regrets. I also have 2 cigarette box CD single sets. I bought all Gallagers related Japanese releases through the years, but I'll give it a go for this release. It looks brilliant and if I buy, I'll buy both volumes, not only one, but I gave other things priority this time. I'd rather treat my better half with a nice long weekend together.

I know what you mean , they aren’t cheap , I still haven’t hit the trigger yet on Vol2 but they are sort of an investment these sets from Japan, they are only pressing 3000 of each and won’t be done again, if these are the only vinyl collections they release, by the time all the madness starts next summer , these could be worth a lot.
