“America. Oasis is coming. You have one last chance to prove that you loved us all along.”
Obviously, there’s going to be a ton of speculation regarding this phrasing because there was nothing stated like this in the UK announcement. Is this Oasis’s last hurrah? Or just a finality that Oasis will not be back to North America this tour? Is this confirmation that the tour is a one-off and that we shouldn’t expect any new music or more tours? Are the brothers actually on good terms, because if they were, surely there’d be more than one tour?

I just took it as a joking reference to the oft-repeated refrain that they failed to "break" America. A very Noelish tone.

It means if these shows flop (which they won’t) then they’ll tour everywhere but America in the future. They can just as easily say “well well well looks like you do love us here’s more shows”

I don't think they're looking to do anything beyond this tour as it stands but there's no way they'll be ruling it out either
many bands have supposedly been having their last hurrah but the money keeps pulling them back in.

That comment has Noel written all over it and it actually pisses me off.
It hard to disprove the myth that Oasis failed to break America when the bands management themselves push it too. It’s like they want that moniker stuck on them.

It's just a joke, I wouldn't read too much into it. Treat it like a Liam tweet if it helps

I thought it was quite funny. Playful little tease at both themselves and the US.

They're turning the arrogance up to 11 and issuing a challenge to their American fans. The same way the UK and Ireland dates got "it will not be televised".
It's doubling down on the idea that they were too arrogant to "break" America and that they wouldn't play the game. It will be interesting to see if it works. These are huge stadiums, they're gonna have to do some pretty heavy lifting over the pond.

We’ll see once the rest of the dates are announced I suppose

I don’t think this is the end. If it was, wouldn’t it have been advertised as the final tour to get even more engagement?

sure its a wait and see what happens both commercially and personally for them.
If massive hit can do a round 2 in 27 or 28 (I do believe this is continue into 26 with Europe, and another uk leg)
If they do pull of America with good ticket sales, then rest of world should be in the bag for this tour and they'd be insane not release a new album

If it was a farewell tour I'm 99% sure they would have said that from the start. They can milk this for years by doing a few gigs every now and then. Europe in 2026, massive outdoor UK shows in 2026, US arena tour, have a break, then announce a farewell tour and do it all again $$$

I think you’re right and Oasis will become the sort of band to play a handful of shows every now and then. Festivals would probably love to throw loads of cash for them every few years.

In the 15 year break they've become legends while all the original legends are dying out and retiring. They don't need to do 150 shows every album, now they can just pick and choose their spots, play massive shows, headline festivals, they could do Morning Glory in full to make it different again, there's a lot of options without being on the road for 200 days a year. No need to to retire it just yet, unless they really hate each other

I don’t think this is the end. If it was, wouldn’t it have been advertised as the final tour to get even more engagement? Not necessarily. That would scream cash grab and probably alluding to the fact they still don't get along. Plus it saves the embarrassment of another comeback later down the line after saying this is the last one. Whatever the situation, whether it's just Noel topping up his bank account after a divorce or whether they're back properly, it's better to just leave it open ended for now. If you keep announcing the end and then keep coming back, it obviously looks like it's strictly business and wears thin. Besides, they may not even know themselves yet. Might be a case of seeing how the tour goes and go from there. Assuming it all goes well, does Noel really wanna go back to supporting Garbage in small venues? Or stick with Oasis...
