Will these two extra show have dynamic pricing? No answers to this is I see. The whole point of staggered sales is to allow for shorter queue times and faster purchases which would mean that dynamic pricing wouldn't kick in, much like in the presale. In the full press release, they stated that the band were unaware dynamic pricing would be used, so after the PR disaster of the past few days I think it's pretty safe to say dynamic pricing will not be used this is just my opinion sure im wrong but there's literally no way the band didnt know. I would think when you are putting another ~£27 million worth of tickets on for sale, in the light of all the negativity surrounding the band and greed. You come up with a very novel/ cool fair way to market the gigs. They have and is a perfect response but you have to distance the band and have to say they didnt know regardless but agreed not a chance will dynamic pricing show its head for these gigs

Its not going to stop the touts though is it. Theyll just apply for the ballot like everyone else. Just stop ticket tranfers as being an option, you either go to the gig or get a refund

What's incredible is that no one on the Oasis side of things thought it might cause a problem

They arent blameless, but I do think theyve gotten a bit too much shit for it. Another act known for working class values who had this issue was Springsteen. And he actually endorsed the damn thing, yet from what i recall noone gave him any criticism at all. Oh he definitely received flak from the fanbase who wouldn't let it lie. I saw him in May a year later and there was no dynamic pricing then. But a fanzine closed down over it. I think that was the first time it was in use, or at least it was a novelty. I thought the bad PR that came of that would have informed Ticketmaster, Ignition and Oasis. Apparently not, they were fully aware of what would happen which is why I don't expect any answers to this. Fairs , while im a big Springsteen fan im admittedly not on a forum, so im only talking about public uproar. I guess it may have been a bit more in the US.

I can well believe the finer details didn't filter their way down to Liam and Noel - it was big enough of an ask to get them to agree and be in the same room nevermind anything else. I wouldn't be surprised if dynamic pricing was signed off by management without their knowledge.
But the statement was poor. Firstly, we know Noel/Liam didn't write it, it's an anonymous management statement blaming anonymous management. And secondly, Oasis aren't a new, up-and-coming band who are bound by whatever the suits tell them to do. Management very much work for the band at this level and if they haven't paid enough attention to what management are doing that's on them.
I think this mostly blow over by the time of the gigs but they'll always have that reputation now unless they pull something spectacular out the bag (refunds). It's a massive own goal.

Let's be honest, chances that Liam & Noel (LG now famously already complained about NGHFB ticket prices in that tweet someone dug up) didn't know about the 'ticket price problems' - whether they were aware of the term 'dynamic pricing' or not - are close to zero. And chances that such things were NOT discussed WITH them or that they were NOT at least informed ABOUT them in the planning of one of the biggest reunions of all time (no matter if the demand was even bigger than expected) as well.
