As I pointed out in another thread, that’s remarkable that they have sold out the tour without even announcing who is in the bloody band! As remarkable as Taylor Swift selling out a tour without announcing who’s in the band That’s not really a comparable analogy.

So rehearsals have started, Liam has confirmed. Yet literally no one knows who the rest of the band members are! Keeping it a secret intentionally at this point. Amazing no leaks on this yet. They are rehearsing this month the songs for the recording of the new album next month.😎 Andy finished his UK tour with Ride and he's free until december. Liam returned from his holidays. Noel IS ready and have the songs. And whoever the other members of the band are, they are mad fer it

As remarkable as Taylor Swift selling out a tour without announcing who’s in the band Taylor's always working with the same group of folks. Some of them are working with her for more than 15 years. Her bassist was there from the very beginning in 2006.

If the rehearsals have really started, it shouldn't take too long for the media to find out the location and who's going in and out.

Agreed, they should. But the question is is Andy Bell up for it though. Is Noel even on speaking terms with Andy? He threw Andy under the bus when Andy failed to defend him during the fight with Liam in Paris. Andy was too busy “looking at his shoes” if I recall Noel’s quote directly. For one reason or another, I don’t think Andy makes the cut. "Too busy counting his shoes for the 100th time" I think the quote was. Always stuck with me.

Whatever it is, though, it’s a secret for a reason… It is a secret because they have to keep interest during the 10 months prior to the first gig, they'll slowly drop the information they give to the fans. I don't think the lineup will be a huge surprise unless they got Johnny Marr or something really unexpected.

Andy's Instagram is pretty busy these days... mostly solo projects and stuff like that.

It's nice to see them on good terms. Must have been very difficult for Andy (Gem and Chris too) to get in the middle of those fights and not sure what to do or say and who do you side with, or just try to stay out of it.

They won't be rehearsing for the tour until April / May at the earliest.
Liam is either lying or they really are going to record a new album in November.
I still maintain I don't think it's enough time. I'm sure Heathen Chemistry was finished in 2001 for example but didn't come out until June / July 2002. Marketing people don't like to be rushed, and absolutely under no circumstances should an Oasis reunion album be rushed. or worse, some fucking terrible covers album.

Im still sticking with my existing prediction, which is the DOYS lineup with the addition of Bonehead. Maybe not my preference, but its OK with me.
Going off what people have been saying though, it has to be said that since 1994 the public faces, and marketable names of the band, have been Liam and Noel. Even when they tried to make it look more even with Gem and Andy it didnt help. So I reckon most people aren’t too bothered whos there if Liam and Noel are.
Theres been plenty of bands that broke through as a full band, but quickly had 2 or 3 members become the faces of the band, then when others left few noticed. The Bee Gees, Tears For Fears. Acts like Eagles and Status Quo also had two dominant figures who were the sole constant members.

I think you’re right, albeit I’d love Alan back, who is by far my favourite drummer (love to Tony of course).

I had forgotten about jeff wotton, with liam receding hair line and noel's bird nest haircut, It would make sense to bring in jeff wotton who could pull of the nostalgia haircut 94-97.
Why has no one mentioned Mani?
since liam and noel both has been playing with female backing vox
the roxy's are gonna be there
as well as the brass section.
I would like a space jazz jam section with brass in champagne supernova,
keys will be mike rowe and and a second one, probably the one playing the string parts on noels tour.
drums? I believe that alan's snare drum is the sound of oasis, fuck tony, he was a chancer, zak was to slow chris is allright, probably be him.

No one really cares about string and brass sections... and female vox for that matter, as there won't be any. As for the keys... There's always Gem to add some if needed - i.e. Stop Crying Your Heart Out...
Honourable mention - Mani. Sure will be there... in the audience. Jeff W. as well.
