So i see its all on Wikipedia now, with even Russ and Mike listed as official Oasis members with Liam, Noel, Gem, Bonehead and Chris. Makes me think that it’s probs been decided once and for all. No fucking way that Mike Rowe is now somehow an "official member" after all these years. There are all sorts of legal things when you're an official member of a band, and I guarantee that Mike, Russell, and even Chris are not. Wikipedia, to no one's surprise, is wrong.

Liam “the weatabix kid” Gallagher was on Wikipedia for fucking years.

I wouldn't count Andy out yet, if Ride isn't touring next year?

I want Alan but we'll probable get Chris, and that's fine.
As for Russ, if the speculation turns to be right, I don't know much about him, but will probably look good in the band promo shoots.

He’s the best bass player either brother has ever played with. He’s an actual bass player rather than a converted guitarist. Has a great groove. He’s been great since day one with Noel. Seems like a really decent skin too.

Bonehead - Rhythm Gem - Lead Russ - Bass Alan - Drums
Genuinely confused by people passing over on Whitey in this poll.

Genuinely confused by people passing over on Whitey in this poll. Because it's a "who do you think" will be in the lineup, not who do you want. Most fans think Alan was the best Oasis drummer, but as of right now there's no evidence that either of the Gallagher's have even spoken to Whitey in the last 20 years.

I have a feeling the only official members are going to be Liam and Noel. The rest will just be touring hired members like Zak used to be.
It'll most likely be: Bonehead Gem Russell Sharrock Mike Rowe

Liam and Noel are the draws, and probably want as high a portion of it as possible. Doesn't make sense for them to add official members back IMO.

I know they're the two essential members, but I would feel a small sense of revulsion if this ends up being the "Liam and Noel and Their Solo Bandmates" tour. In fact, anything but the 1995 line-up would leave a little hole in my heart somewhere; I know I'm letting perfection be the enemy of greatness, but even a 2000's-Oasis reunion wouldn't give me the true sense of magic which only getting that truly magical band back together could. Get that cockney bastard Alan White on the phone! Tell Guigsy he can be paid in cricket tickets! If you're gonna do it, do it right!

Many assume he just isn't interested in being in any sort of limelight again.

Many assume he just isn't interested in being in any sort of limelight again. He can stand there and mime on a Lego bass as far as I'm concerned. He's Guigsy! He played Knebworth! He's Oasis! Fair enough if he's just not up for it, but if Noel isn't pulling out all the stops to get that definitive, peak-Oasis lineup back together then there'll always be a distantly bittersweet note to this re-union, for me. I know I'm looking a gift horse directly in the mouth here, but Oasis to me is not just Liam and Noel; it's those five working-class lads who conquered the world while dressed like they were nipping down the precinct for a loaf of bread. It's the Oasis who changed Britain forever with three albums and a set of b-sides, who sound-tracked The Royle Family, who were there rehearsing All Around the World as nobodies in 1993 and then got to the point where they could sell it as the longest #1 single of all time just five years later. The ones who truly will live forever. Tony is a no-go, but as much as possible, I want that Oasis - for me, deep down, the real Oasis, back on stage.
