So, still zero info at all about who will comprise the rest of the players for the tour?

Early reports seemed to say Bonehead was joining the reunion but don't think he's made any statement.

I'm taking bets that the MG reissue has Step Out with Liam on Vocals You can book it. I wonder if they can work something out with Stevie Wonders camp and release it as a single for the reissue. Really only hard-core Oasis fans know the song. I think it would have been a big success if it was on Morning Glory which was the plan orginally. Would make my year if that was released. I love the original but was just listening to the leaked version with Liam and fuck does it sound incredible. He did tweet that it’s in the set list but who knows how serious he was that second lol

My mistake about arenas ! It does seem like its slowing down though; Album sales are the basis for tours booking usually. Were they mostly sold out ? So its not a good sign to have that big of a gap between sales numbers of two records, although as i said earlier, the Liam and Oasis following is still strong so they're always likely make a lot of money from their gigs because people go mainly for the hits; But recording wise, its not looking good : That means the next NGHFB album could have sold even less... Noel is clearly not in any danger of failing hard, but after WBTM, the worry was there, or he wouldn't have made such a MOR record. and that move wasnt that successful; nor it was a total failure; In comparison, the LG/JS album sold 40k, which for a side project is ok i guess. For Noel, under 100k, its not that really good a number isn't it ? It seems very low to me, i was really surprised looking at those numbers. i'd love to buy council skies but i can only do so if i import, so it's not that easy really lg/js had a total first press of 500 cds (five hundred, yes) in brazil, and i'd say that it's only because warner insists on pressing cds and lps in brazil, even if small amounts. third press of liam's mtv unplugged was 300. for comparison, i have the first cd press of different gear still speeding and the total of the first press was 10.000, in 2011. times are different. i would not infer much on the regard of record sales, because there are plenty of artists out there making absurds amounts of money without putting records out there. there's little correlation these days

I wouldn't read too much into an article. Band's of that size don't really live in each other's pockets anymore. I'm pretty sure Liam had his own dressing room on that Lord Don't Slow Me Down documentary and that's when they were on good terms, so that doesn't mean much and as for them not traveling together, well it's not like they are doing a different city every night and logistically need to be on a tour bus or something. they are playing multiple concerts in one city before moving on to the next for the most part, many bands in that situation don't necessarily always travel together. Of course the article might be corrected and maybe they still can't stand each other and just doing it for the money and being kept apart. I don't think that would surprise anybody either, but in terms of the content of the article, I don't think it means anything one way or the other because very few bands on that kind of scale live each of the pockets anymore, even if they get along. My guess is there's been an improvement in the relationship. Seeing their kids suddenly spending time with each other is a sign that things aren't quite as bad.

Obviously the no interviews policy is applied to avoid question about the scissor player. I think you mean the scarf.

Its Noel Gallagher, he's always been a massive seller, so 60K for a traditional rock n roll record must have raised some red flags inside Sour Mash; Its his own label so record sales are still very important;

There better be some playful banter on stage. Even a shared cheeky smile will suffice.

Noel definitely wants his crown back; NGHFB was going down the drain and he needs to be adored again; So there will be a new Oasis record; But not before the MG reissue madness. 2026 is my bet for new material. in the meantime, we will get a lot of stuff from MG days. Footage, extra tracks and demos. Its gonna happen. Yeah I don’t think Noel will go back to NGHFB anytime soon I know everyone here believes his bs about his precious ~artistic freedom but no

He's clearly being sarcastic and taking the piss out of the shitty tabloids with this, in another reply today he called out the media who spread these kind of lies and said their "sources" don't know anything

I hope he brings it back.

In the latter days they would play the main solo closer to Weller's solo on the album so, that plus the extended solo he played at the end of the song, that would be magic!

«Hey kid, did you know? Today 16 years ago It was you and I for the last time» One Of Us (2019)
The Gallagher brothers will play alongside each other again in 2025 and the last time they shared the same stage was in 2009, exactly 16 years earlier. Liam had therefore already warned us from the "future" in 2019.
At this point it makes me think that they had already planned everything from the beginning. And we naive people who believed their arguments and slaughtered each other. They probably had fun...
