I think that's actually so wholesome, Liam's really looking forward to go on this journey with his mates and has already said on other occasions, too, that it's not just about the money, so can people please stop with their negativity and these claims they're all miserable and are just in it for the money and nothing else. If you want to say this about Noel, fine, let's see what he has to say when we hear from him, but it's not fair to say this about the whole band when Liam has already denied these claims

While I don't thinks theres really anything to suggest a new record, this reunion absolutely makes a retrospective very likely. Keep the faith... one year ago I would call nuts anyone saying there would be an Oasis reunion

Time puts everyone in their place (yes, I know, Damon is a talented guy, but Oasis are in a league of their own)

Is it possible to estimate how many tickets have been sold in Europe and America?

Is it possible to estimate how many tickets have been sold in Europe and America? Yeah, i'd especially like to see a breakdown of the US stuff and the capacity of the arenas/stadiums. I mean Soldier Field is pretty big, to sell that out is pretty impressive.

Us lot know it more than most but the idea outside this forum that its just about the money is such a cliche. They had 15 years of this kind of money being thrown at them every single year.
I listened to Richard Osman on a podcast recently and he sensibly said that they don't need the money. Both of them are stinking rich, and Noel has £200-300 million coming his way when he sells the back catalogue, so that bins the idea that he's doing so because there's a divorce to pay.
What Osman did elaborate on is a very simple fact - they miss playing sold out stadiums every single night and the vast audiences they play. None more so than Noel probably, and Liam's massive gigs were great but they weren't the norm. Doing Knebworth sized gigs is the norm for Oasis and always was. I'd be dying to get back to that after 15 years.

Is it possible to estimate how many tickets have been sold in Europe and America? Back of the envelope… 28 gigs * 55K avg concert capacity per gig = 1.54M tickets.

Is it possible to estimate how many tickets have been sold in Europe and America? I think these about right for uk and Ireland leg Wembley 90k x 7 = 630k heaton park 80k x 5 = 400k Cardiff 74k x 2 = 145k Murrayfield 67k x 3 = 201k Dublin 82k x 2 = 164k 1.5 million so maybe 2 million with u.s leg

Even at a super conservative average of $/£100 per ticket, this tour has grossed 150-200M+ already (pick your currency)

My guess is Noel and Liam were both guaranteed £50-75M each, with significant upside and high probability of £100-150M+ each overall. Not even including merch sales yet…

Then like you say merch the potential of apple/amazon documentary live album maybe studio album many many ££££££'s but possibly tieing a big bow on their legacy and bowing out on this massive high.. priceless

Next year ? By the end of this year, there’s a new album on the way as well apparently, imagine how many variations of that will be available, ah well, it’s all good ! 😊 Very true. Between tickets to gigs , the singles boxsets from Japan, the book Michael Spencer Jones is due to release and everything else coming....now would be a grand time to win the bingo. Note to self - start going to bingo. Indeed 😂👍🏻 what book Is Michael Spencer Jones bringing out ?

You going off rumors/speculation, or other info? Just reading comments what Liam has been saying when he’s been asked so not sure how much truth , but he answered to someone him saying it was done , did read somewhere else Noel has lots of Songs in the can ready for it , he must have known this reunion was coming for a long time, they both must have. It’s great to see them selling out Stadiums in the states, I could never see that happening again.

Soldier Field is the smallest of the American venues. It's the smallest NFL stadium as well, I believe at a guess even with the stage taking up one end of stadium (obv leaves more people to stand on pitch) looks like will be 50k+ venue which is basically unthinkable for a u.s oasis gig and if thats the smallest .. wow
