I may add to my former message than, bar Bonehead, the guitar/bass players in Liam's band are duller than Andy Bell.
Special shout to the faux Noel at guitar and the backing vocals guy. Terrible, both of them.

This is also par for the course with Liam, he is constantly having sound issues at his gigs. At least Noel will sort that for Oasis Liam has been complaining about the sound at gigs since 1994.

I guess most of these folks never been to one of Liam's concerts or saw him with Beady Eye (or even the last few years with Oasis). It wasn't his best performance, but it was ok. I am sure he had a few drinks before the gig.
He will be fine in july next year.

Yeah true but I'm looking forward to a decently rehearsed band with Noel back on board, never liked Liam's band.

I think last nights performance he went too hard with the vocals turning into shouting. His thought process was probably that analogy he says in interviews of going for it like a boxer in the ring.
They always manage to blow the mainstream tv big gigs. Olympics closing ceremony Beady Eye doing Wonderwall springs to mind. No wonder the reunion statement said it will not be televised (Noel’s words I would imagine)

They are tight, but there's always a big difference between someone who is in a band and someone who is paid to play with an artist. This is it: Its not bad (ANYMORE, it used to be bad, let's be realistic), but it's... controlled.

I don't think his voice was bad last night, but in fairness I've never been as enthusiastic about the recovery of his voice as others have been. He obviously sounds better in recent years than he did in the mid/late 2000s, but to me it's never got close to his heyday. I realise it never will though, so just make the best of it.
Unless his voice is shockingly bad for some reason, it won't affect the gigs next year – they'll be carried along by the band, the crowd, the atmosphere and the occasion anyway. Whether Liam is operating at 100% of what he can manage or 60% won't really matter. People will pick apart live recordings and videos, but that's not what it's about.
People have pointed out he sounded better on the LGJS tour compared to last night, but in my opinion that's not so much because his voice was rested, more because those gigs were much lower energy than when he plays Oasis classics. He's better able to control his voice when nothing is really hitting full throttle, but I'd take him shouting all through Fade Away over perfectly singing one of the LGJS songs any day of the week.

As a musician Andy is miles above those two.

Watching it now…. RNRS… okay, sure a bit shouty but overall Liam was fine. His band were terrible, though.
People need to revisit Kermit if they think this is bad.

He sounded perfectly fine once Supersonic got going.
No idea what some of these other members are hearing. This just shows how big of a resurrection it’s been if you call this bad. Good on Liam.

It’s very corporate and safe. There’s no danger in the playing. Oasis Mk II didn’t have the edge of the early days but they’re like Motley Crew in comparison to Liam’s cardboard cutouts. He might as well be playing along to a backing track.

When you're a touring member, you get asked to play a certain way, and cant improvise, go crazy or even try to add a bit of life into things. Liam's band have clear instructions on how to play, probably to play the closest to the recorded version, as to not put the crowd off. And they do it, with the fear of missing a part and being told to go... it's a very stressfull job until you are a well known touring musician people ask for.

And as far as Cigs and Alc goes… Liam is doing just fine. What are people expecting, Pavarotti?

That intro to C&A bore no resemblance to any recorded version of that song.

Are they really going to let Taylor Swift and Robbie Williams hold the Wembley record. Can’t they just add one more gig to at least be joint record holders.

If a football team loses 7-0 in 2006, that doesn’t mean fans should shut up and accept a 4-0 loss in 2024. He was poor last night.

Half a million people chanting his name while he's doing a handstand and singing Song2?

Yeah he did sound quite bad, it's as simple as that
