Does it have to be 8 consecutive? Or does that not matter? Swift's were not consecutive. She did 4 in June and 4 in August, I believe. I guess the record is for most shows during a tour, so conceivably, if Oasis were still on this tour in 2026 and did more, it would count I think. not sure they'll brand any tour in 26 live 25

They're obviously going to play gigs outside of the UK! Just be patient! The thing is. Are we gonna see them on the mainland europe in 2025 or do we have to wait until 2026? Mainland Europe will be 2026 if it happens.

Shame they aren't doing the Co-Op Live, that would be my choice of place to see them ( I haven't been there yet, does look awesome).

I wonder if those rumored 10 dates at Wembley are real and we’ll get more after these two extra inevitably sell out in seconds.

Wait a moment... So this is kind of a fuck off to all the fans from OUTSIDE the UK that didn't get tickets? They're obviously going to play gigs outside of the UK! Just be patient! Not in 25!

Think the crazy part of this is it says that 2023 was record year with 4 million ticket scans. With these 2 gigs oasis up to 1.5-1.6 million so if there are many more Gigs added oasis could be about 1/2 of what ticketmaster did in 2023. Thats insane stat

So two more Wembley gigs... meaning that those of us in Manchester / the North who got fucked over the most still don't get a look in? Fair enough but what should the irish say? They had the biggest mare

1 to equal the record, 2 to break it. They're this close, they've got to go for it surely. I know it's less than ideal for fans around the country but it is Wembley Stadium! Don't the 3 they did in 2009 count towards this record? And what about the 2 in 2000 (though admittedly at the old stadium). They count towards the overall record (number of shows played at Wembley in total) which in itself is an incredible feat but the one I'm referring to is Taylor Swift's record of most number of shows in a calendar year which is currently 8. Oasis are at 5 in total, the 7 here takes them to 12. I'm not sure who that record holder is currently, it might be Michael Jackson.

The return of Oasis is the best news of the year, without a doubt. A dream come true...but am I the only one who thinks that the thing about concerts and ticket sales is being a bit disastrous?
Everything seems improvised. Now they put on two Wembleys in September...only for people from the UK...so why don't they give a concert in continental Europe?
If they came to Spain, I wouldn't go to Wembley. As easy as that.
As always, Oasis management, the worst.
Anyways, I wish the best luck to loyal fans from this forum gettin the tickets 🙂

It's certainly jarring to think that before 2021 both brothers used to do full headline shows across Europe whereas now they're limited to a few festival appearances due to the costs and hassle that go into putting on gigs there now. Just another reason why Brexit was the worst thing to happen to this country in a long time

Brexit has knackered up European touring for bands , but oasis will play their in 2026 stadium tour .. it’ll finish with Glastonbury and knebworth that year .. America is next year .. as for those saying they’ve screwed over the north.. Man City’s ground isn’t available , Heston park is a summer gig .. they’ve already booked 5 and could play another 10 it’s not possible due to the ground. For them to play to demand they would need to play around 150 uk gigs next year

Michael Jackson’s was 7 dates at Wembley in 1988, which was the record for a single tour until Taylor Swift this year. Oasis have just equalled Jackson’s 7, albeit as part of a currently much smaller tour. Taylor Swift broke the record this year by doing 8. Again also as part of a much bigger global tour. But Oasis could break her record if they simply add two more Wembley dates this year.

On the topic of Wembley records, Take That played eight nights there from 30th June to 9th July 2011 (the record Taylor Swift equalled this year).

Maybe not in Europe but they will play in the US! According to the leaked schedule which has so far proved to be accurate, they'll go on a US/LATAM tour in early to mid September and then get back to the UK at the end of the month for the 2 Wembley dates More reason to be disappointed if you are in Continental Europe. I am sorry but I can’t understand the reasoning behind giving priority to the UK fans that didn’t get tickets over the Europe fans that didn’t get tickets.

Because they could not justify charging 190 euros for a standing ticket or 250 for a good seat, thats why It sounds more expensive than in pounds

Crazy to think he got to 17 back in 1997 and no caught up to him in the years since though I guess the stadium was closed for over 6 years years for the rebuild. The Stones haven't gone back and U2 only went back for 2 shows on the 360 tour. I've heard it's horrendously expense to book Wembley Stadium so I guess thats why London Stadium and Twickenham has been picking up additional bookings as well as the limitations on the Wembley licence. Would love to see Oasis get the record for most shows in a calendar year.
