I’m not English; I’m England.
I’m not American; I’m Americanish.

I saw a lovely squirrel again outside my kitchen window today. They're always welcome though.

Anybody remembers a user who tried to convince us that the Earth is flat? Oh well.

The difference between Australian horse racing fans and the European ones was seen when Almond Eye retired yesterday. The Europeans not once brought up Enable but the Australian idiots had to bring Winx up. See why no one likes us Straya?

Ever get the feeling everything is going to be absolutely fine, even when things might suggest otherwise?
Soon be summer.

Kudos to Arthur Cooper for staying sane even though he was losing voice at the Haye Josselyn.

Clement Duvaldestin has gone into my shit list, if he had hit anyone he inconvienced by pulling left the drivers would be roasting him over the coals.
Also: Fuck you Activ8

The lovely squirrel was around yet again today when I was washing up after dinner. It was sat in a tree, then it was going to come down but went back up again and stayed there for about two minutes or so. Then it came down, ran across the grass and went next door. It seems regular these days as it's always around.

Well I never wear a hat but if it's raining while I'm out then I put the hood up on my coat.

I have a bit of a weird social life, school gave me a fantastic group of friends but we all study in different cities now and see each other just during summer and winter breaks, and as I grow older I struggle more and more with getting to know people, I barely talk with my uni colleagues and don't have much going with my housemates I've got one friend here, but we mostly see each other during daytime, so on many weekends I didn't know what to do and quite a few times ended up going to relatively small gigs, even of artists I wasn't a massive fan of but that intrigued me and I can see now how much I felt in peace with myself and "understood" in that environment, even if it was just for a couple of hours I've met some nice people through artists I follow more, but even in those times (most of the times, actually) I end up going alone I couldn't care less, I just love the whole experience and I've got so many good memories throughout the years I guess gigs really have some kind of cathartic power on me, they were like a breath of fresh air in usually busy and sometimes suffocating times

My old school friends are good friends but I felt like I grew apart from them in too many ways and I decided I have to find a totally new friends circle, or just friends in general. Not too surprisingly pretty much all of my current friends are people I can talk about music with, and we're into same kind of music. I'm bad at making friends in general but music seems to be the kind of link that gives me enough social skills to connect with others. When I was studying in Glasgow I only had one friend from uni I sometimes hung out with outside classes, but even with him it didn't happen too often. But instead, I got friends by going to local gigs and stuff and even my mostly introverted nature made it possible to find actual friends that way. Also going to gigs alone is great too. I was doing it a lot and enjoyed them almost just as much. Sometimes I even lose my friends at gigs lol But anyway, hope you can find some good gig friends too. From my experience really good friends can appear out of a thin air sometimes, or just interesting people in general. I used to be a massive loner and there was a time when I had a realisation that my life is actually pretty fucked up and I don't have any close friends anymore (that was one of the reasons I moved to Glasgow). But now two years later I've met some really amazing people especially through music and they all seem to have one thing in common; I met them in really unexpected situations. I don't know if it's just me but I feel like I shouldn't try to find those people and just let them appear in my life instead, that's what's worked best for me so far. e. Long message 😅 I'm doing a night shift and found some spare time haha

Two black birds made me jump this morning when I was going out first thing as I didn't know they were there. It was only getting light then but the street lights were still on. The black birds were chashing each other off.

Going from night shifts to normal shifts is always so random. Well, I've got an evening shift but I gotta say I would've almost preferred if I was working this morning. Slept from 9am to 8pm, then fell asleep after 11pm again but it felt more like napping. Now it's 5am and I've been "napping" all night and I'm not sure if I should try to sleep again or what. I have work till midnight so I don't like the idea of waking up this early. Oh well, I think I'm gonna smoke a joint and grab something to eat, listen to music and then see how I feel about sleeping...
