Thanks mimmihopps I know I've posted this before but since it's you and me, and more importantly Weller covering OCS, I thought I'd share this belter of a tune again Timeless, brilliant song. OCS are incredibly underrated and unknown outside UK, but a great great band. Would really love to see Cradock with his band live over here at once! As 4 of 5 Weller's upcoming gigs in my agenda are postponned and cancelled, all his records are keeping company with me. Stay safe, our good old Guigsy!

I've been enjoying Teenage Fanclub a lot lately, especially Bandwagonesque. That album is definitely a grower and it just gets better the more I listen to it. Btw I played these nice arpeggiated chords last night while I was on acid and I thought it sounded interesting enough that I should record it and now looking back I do actually like it a lot: clyp.it/3zsnrzos (I had to play that fingerpicking btw coz I couldn't find my pick lol) Might try to turn it into a song actually...

I'd highly recommend Big Star in that case, whose '#1 Record' and 'Radio City' LPs had more than a passing influence on early TFC. Big Star's '3rd' LP can feel more abrasive than the first two but is still a good record and has one of my favourite songs on it-

But you're right, I should listen to them more since the stuff I've heard is great.

Some people just want to be watching the world burn. Bjorn Goop wasn't defending the doping but the way this trainer has been portrayed

Wow. It’s 4 am here and police officers are car patrolling in the neighbourhood. A stricter curfew has been in effect in Hungary since Friday so it’s good to see they are this committed.

Wow. It’s 4 am here and police officers are car patrolling in the neighbourhood. A stricter curfew has been in effect in Hungary since Friday so it’s good to see they are this committed. In Finland the army is patrolling the roads in and out of the region where Helsinki is located because they've closed to whole region. I'm probably flying back to Finland next week but it's a bit tricky to get back to my hometown from the airport because the public transport out of the airport is closed and my family can't pick me up because the airport is located in the region that's in lockdown and I have to sort out some kind of special transport from the airport. And another problem is that my mum works in a nursery so I can't go back with my family immediately so I have to sort out some kind of temporary living situation. I wonder if I could temporarily stay with the girl who asked me as her flatmate since she lives near the airport and she said she'd live love to hang out when I come back (that was a day before they announced the whole region gets locked down which means I couldn't visit her anymore once I return back home :/ ). But if I stayed with her there's a danger I won't be allowed back home anymore since the fucking army is watching all the exits out of the city...

I've read the situation is not that serious over there (yet) but this whole lockdown business sounds rather strict. It's interesting to see the contrast in approach of the Northern countries, my whole Livescore feed is filled with Swedish friendly matches. The new restrictions in Hungary are surely stricter than before, and policemen can be seen patrolling the streets, but it's almost like this recent government edict has made no difference at all. People can still visit non-essential businesses (the barber, for example) or got to the church and the only actual change is that only pensioners are allowed to visit stores between 9 and 12. I'm not saying this is a bad thing because after all, the number of reported cases is relatively low in our country, it's just that the edict goes on for so long but says so little. Anyway, the best of luck to you with finding your way back to your home. And stay safe!!

Wow In The Gig, Cheadle really did hurt your feelings didn't he? But he in a way is right, look at the last three WDC tables. Last or second last. It's like we're telling them to tank.

RIP Zeturf during the pandemic. I thought they worked through anything. Suffer in yer jocks boys, that sexism was uncalled for. Hope Trista didn't contract Covid 19.
