Thats fine by me. I live in a city that has a female communist mayor and she is awesome! Crazy because where i live, cities run by communists are filthy, with high crimes and low employment rate. Probably is a different form of communism. Definitely is. I live in Austria. Its just that this political party really focuses on making living affordable, because rents and all costs went over the moon.

After repeated listens, it has grown a little on me and I still think 'From Mars to Liverpool' is great, but overall I am still quite dissapointed with the album.
I was hoping for something with similar sound and similar quality level as the first Seahorses album, but with Liam's voice in it. That would have easily been one of my favourite albums of the year.
I am not as crazy as to expect something at the 90's Oasis or Stone Roses quality level, but it was reasonable to think that Squire had probably accumulated a fair amount of good songs written slowly through his retirement years, and now he could choose the best ones.
But now I tend to think that maybe he needed the money and he quickly wrote and recorded ten songs to leverage the attention and sales that Liam can bring, while he was still available and interested.
That would explain why the songwriting quality is so low (in my opinion of course, I know many people here think otherwise) and the overall album seems rushed.

Turned Roses reunions down to pursue his art, then had 5 years with them on massive money making tours. If it's one thing it isn't about I'd say it's money.

They made 10 millions for their last tour I think he is fine. Just. He seems to have been a quiet living man. Didn't even make that much money from the Roses initially. Doesn't seem the sort to blow it.

Doesn't seem the sort to blow it. Yeah they got conned by the label. he doesnt live rock n roll lifestyle that's for sure. But what do you really need ? From gigs and publishing and reissues and licensing, they made money after the Roses split en the 90s, more than enough to buy a house in the country and live a simple quiet life. its the perfect dream life... It's usually people you dont hear about who are the happiest

I'm up to 7/10, I don't think it'll ever be more than a mid to high 7 for me.
It's a fun album for now but I don't think it'll stand the test of time.
It'll be filed alongside BE and HC for me in the Gallagher catalogue within a year or so I think.
