Yep. That was a funny convo! Black Keys seem to be really chilled, fun guys. Listened to that these days too and was curious if they mention Noel(been a JRE regular for 7-8 years). Also the story about going out in London with them and he "knew" which girl in a bar was a hooker LOL I wouldn't say I'm a Rogan regular but every now and then I catch up and he's my 'getting to sleep/easy listening' pod. But found it really funny that he said how catchy On The Game is... It's like yep, there's a Noel Gallagher hook. Noel was asked last year by Matt Morgan on his pod if he'd go on Rogan. Noel said 'he probably doesn't know who I am'. No excuses, now! |

I have heard the live versión a couple of times and seems like a good song, but maybe a bit formulaic ?

What we've heard of the tracks, and in fact a few others on the album do seem fun, but I am a bit disappointed Noel isn't signing them.

True, but he sung tracks that he co-wrote or was asked to for the Chemical Brothers, CamelPhat and Imelda May, so the precedent is there. It's nice to hear things he's worked on or wrote for other, like the Monkees tune, but I'd personally be more interested if he was the vocalist. |
