Probably one of my favourite songs ever to be fair. It's absolutely beautiful. Have it on repeat this time of year.

It's just a shame that it never made number one in the charts.

It's three years ago today exactly since it was released.

Must just be me who dislikes it then.
Thought it was a pretty shit song and contrived to cash in on the 'M&S Christmas advert' market. Plus we'd just gone back into lockdown and everything was bleak as fuck.

It’s weirdly both beautiful and awful.

It’s weirdly both beautiful and awful. Wow. I was thinking that but didn't know how to express it. That's perfect. I feel like Simon aldreds Liam songs are beautiful but over the top sugary and I can't listen to them too much.

Still one of the best from his solo career. But I usually skip it outside of Christmas time.

Haven't listened to it since 2020. I think it's kinda lame he could not make it an actual Christmas song. But I did like it when it came out.

Hold up surprisingly well even tho Liam doesn’t associate with Christmas and the winter holidays

I was in a local chain supermarket this afternoon in California - not one I usually go to, because it strikes me as an "old person's" store (though I could be accused of being one myself) and as I was checking out, I was stunned - over the sound system they were playing All You're Dreaming Of. I've never heard it anywhere in the states, and the last place I expected it was this grocery store.

It's a weird Simon Aldred dynamic for me. I really enjoy all the songs he's done with Liam. However, they are so saccharine that even though they are so good, I can only listen to them so much. It became formulaic and I think it's great how the Liam Gallagher John Squire album are devoid of any of these songs (even though in isolation they sound great).

I've been recently listening to "Down by the river Thames" & was pleasantly surprised by how good this song is, hadn't listened to it for quite a while.
I've been coming back to it for the next days, beautiful chorus, a very nice addition to the Liam catalogue.
Much better than "For what it's worth" IMO.
