Those tunes definitely seemed to split the fanbase. I take a whole album of that more throwaway, if you can call it that, stuff. Love how's it's melodic and stripped down. Seems he songs more from the heart on those type of tunes also

The alarm clock on Fort Knox is brilliant, really elevates the tune. I was driving home with my wife one day and put WBTM at a lower volume so we can keep talking and at some point she goes "What the hell is that sound, it's so annoying?" I explained what it was and she thought putting that sound was a stupid idea.  Noel should really do a rethink of Fort Knox and spare us the damn alarm clock. The song is good. it deserves the rethink treatment. |

(Probably) All In The Mind is an absolute banger. 🤯 Harmonies in the beginning are among their best. After the second verse, the rest of the song is a let down. |

Not really HFB related... but Teotihuacan is among the best things Noel has ever done. Between this and the better moments of Giants, this should've been the direction of Mk II Oasis. |

Freaky Teeth is my favorite of his solo tunes. I sped up the track in Audacity (and added reverb) to capture that live tempo and feel, and it rocks! Also did that for Full On. Highly recommend doing so. |

Highly recommend doing so. Tried this and I agree ^^ Especially Full On. Upped it to 1.25x speed just on a YouTube video of the song and it sounds like early Oasis punk. Headshrinker vibe. With Liam on vocal at that speed, would’ve been class. |
