About a seven, maybe. It's good, pleasant, enjoyable.
Would be about the seventh-best song on Parachutes.
Don't get why people seem to have pressed play on Champagne Supernova instead. In the minority again!

It's great, wasn't expecting that at all, I was expecting IIHAG pt2 from the description but was pleasantly surprised by the tone and atmosphere of the long. Reminds me of early Coldplay and maybe a little bit of Radiohead at moments. I'd give it a solid 8/10, the Make It Alright part is gorgeous

To be fair, Parachutes really holds up. People tend to forget since the band's songwriting went to shit shortly after. Their best work came in 2008! Being in the bottom half of Parachutes quality-wise is no big insult, but it's about where this belongs. It's serviceable and creates the mood that it wants to, but I don't see where the reaction has come from as if it's the new Hallelujah or something. Same thing happened with Once and Nothing Nowhere, think I'm just not as into these acoustic ballads as some. |

It just has *it* for me, nothing to complain about, moody, cinematic, gentle, melancholic, not something I'd expect from Noel either
