From the new album he plays exactly the opposite of what I would like to hear:) Where is I am not givin up tonight, There she blows, Dead to the world, Trying to find.. and Think of the number? I really hope he will change this in upcoming months.. Unfortunately he already claimed he won't be playing INGUT or DTTW live. Here's hoping for the other ones to show up during the next leg of the tour That doesn’t surprise me. Even on the recording, he is struggling a tad on INGUT. Can’t really imagine him ever landing it live.

I was in the 7th row at the Concord gig tonight. Great show. 14 songs in about 1 hour 15 minutes. Very nice to hear Going Nowhere live in the set list. Noel was complaining about the California weather being so cold. he did hit California in a cold spell that's for sure, ha

I'm not the biggest fan of wonderwall, but I wish he would get rid of that Joy Division cover and put it in its place. At least for America.
I've never heard of the Joy Division song before, and no one I've spoken to has. Maybe it was a hit in England in the 80's, but it's a real downer after the crowd-pleasing euphoria of Live Forever.

Just made an impulse purchase to see NGHFB in San Diego! Snagged a front-row adjacent seat for standard pricing! Wohoo!

I'll be honest. I've got tickets for the Franklin, TN show, and I get he views US runs as a way to get the band in shape, but this setlist is pretty unexciting overall.

Poor people in Santa Barbara had two songs less (ITHOTM and LWTUA).

Given the importance of that song to Manchester music, I'd like to offer you a friendly word of advice, if you'll indulge me. (Please don't take any offense!) I first joined this forum as a teenager 19 years ago (Jesus fuc king Christ…), and was subsequently introduced to many fantastic artists and bands. I strongly urge you to do the same, particularly because we all have one thing in common: Oasis. Go through long running threads like "What song are you listening to?" or "What album did you last listen to?" (that one was my creation). You never know what you're going to find and connect with.

Joy Division = New Order as without Joy Division there would have been no New Order as that's where the latter band came from.

Great show. Much better vibes than 2012 lol. Most people there for garbage but the Noel fans represented pretty good. I was like a kid again when he played Going nowhere What time did he come on? Before or after Garbage? 🙏

Before or after Garbage? 🙏 According to various setlist websites, he comes on around 8pm local time after Metric but before Garbage. Supposedly the order may switch at some point. I've discovered some great music & artists in those threads and Rock'nRoll Star thread too. I love discovering new music/bands and exchanging opinions with fellow members. I appreciate tbe suggestion, but regardless no American I've spoken to in their 40's knows the song. It's a co-headline tour where it sounds like people are mostly there to see the other band, wouldn't hurt to throw in another hit everyone knows. And the videos I've seen of the full show seems to prove what I'm saying.

I'm probably in the minority in that I quite like his Love Will Tear Us Apart cover, but it blows my mind that someone with Noel's back catalogue would waste a slot on a cover. He's got millions of top songs to choose from.
I'm also probably in the minority in that I don't like Wonderwall but just play that instead whilst in the US. What was the quote he said about U2 years ago (before he crawled up Bono's arse)? 'Just play One and shut the fuck up'
