I actually like Black Star Dancing and always have but it's certainly not one of Noel's best.

* Pretty Boy
* Council Skies
* Easy Now
* We’re Gonna Get There in the End
* Open the Door, See What You Find
* We're on Our Way Now
* Black Star Dancing
* AKA... What a Life!
* The Masterplan
* Going Nowhere
* Little by Little
* Live Forever
* Love Will Tear Us Apart
* Don't Look Back in Anger Not a bad setlist. I'd replace Black Star Dancing and Little by Little. Little By Little is probably his best live song if he doesn't play Don't Look Back in Anger electrically. It pumps up the crowd, even those in America who don't know it.

Open The Door seems to work extremely well live!

Bit of a let down on the setlist. I’d say oh maybe he’ll add something but we alllll know Noel isn’t the best for making spontaneous changes along the way.
Any good pics of merch stand yet?

"Another feeble attempt to become popular in this *deep exhale* country" Dude gave up after one gig Wait. Did Noel actually say that? Or was that just the person on twitter

But the setlist is heavy with songs which share a similar mood (Live Forever, Masterplan, DLBIA, even Easy Now) so I'd drop it for something else. And I'd replace Black Star Dancing with Blue Moon Rising or This Is the Place, if we must include a track from the EPs.

From what i recall of the merch stand, there were two Noel t-shirts and that was it. One black with photo of him on the front and tour dates on the back, and one blue with the band name on the front and "Can you delete my number" on the back.

I thought there were some pretty great shirts. My credit card had different opinions this morning haha but hey, he hasn't toured in 4 years.

Best thing for Noel playing in North America would still to do smaller theatres on it's own in some key markets and add some bigger shows in places like NY/Toronto/Boston/LA - still good enough to do +10 gig tour in my opinion that could sell ok-ish.
Not surprised he goes with that formular showcasing the new record in the first half and doing some Oasis stuff for the rest of set. Surprised though only What A Life off the debut - at least people ain't getting tortured with She Taught Me How To Fly, It's A Beautiful World no more
Ain't fancy me that Joy Division cover. Thought it was just a one-off thing for that BBC session. And no need in my opinion to throw in a cover if it's a shorter set and not like a 20 songs or more. Why not do Whatever for example. Also one of the songs even some casuals know.

Was DLBIA the full electric version or the stripped back version he usually plays?
Prefer the latter.

None of them really spoke to me, but maybe because they were all speaking to you instead.

Thanks for the pics!!
Ugh nothing for the ladies. Guess I shouldn’t expect much from a co-headlining tour but it feels like most of his stuff the last couple tours has felt cheap.

Who goes on first? Noel or the Garbage cans? It seems like west coast will have Noel opening and east will have Noel as headliner

FYI I really recommend sticking around for Garbage, if you go to one of the shows where Noel plays first. Garbage put on a great show, and Shirley Manson was just magnetic. I really enjoyed them.

Presuming that the new lad in the band is Callum Marinho. He’s Noel’s engineer at Lone Star. Used to be a drummer in a band called Projector in Brighton then started engineering for Tom Jones and Coldplay at Mono Valley/Rockfield. Now workinv full time at Lone Star.
