Horrible report, how anyone could put an animal through that kind of pain is awful. I hope it sheds light on the abuse of other horses in all sports, there's bound to be much more of this sort of thing going on. Poor thing.

I know that it goes on and the same goes for grey hound racing which is very cruel and has a dark side to it as well. It's about time that they banned using any animal in so called sport. |

A nice story for a change, a white-tailed eagle couple has skipped this year's breeding season in order to care for a juvenile who broke a wing. hatching in April, unseasonbly wild weather blew an eaglet from its nest on the Isle Of Mull during the July fledging season. So these two white-tailed eagle parents took over and nursed it back to health.
