I'm sorry but anyone who thinks it's OK to hunt animals for fun etc then I have no time for them whatsoever and the Royals should know better.

That’s the real tragedy here, that this racket will be allowed to continue probably for the rest of our lives. That is her only legacy, that she somehow managed to prolong this farcical medieval freak show long after it should have ceased to be. Are you saying that had she not been as popular, the support for monarchy would have been much smaller today? I guess I just assume Brits will be crazy for their kings and queens no matter who it is, but it's an interesting question. theyknowwhatimean, because I fucked up the quotation

no matter what one's thoughts on the monarchy are; she was a remarkable woman. Agreed. For me, one of the most remarkable things she did was personally encourage a violent crackdown on independence movements in Yemen, leading to a campaign that killed thousands upon thousands of people, including many who were castrated with pliers, women who were gang-raped under threat of torture, and people who had their heads smashed in with clubs until their brains broke. These events were never apologised for or even acknowledged by Lizzie, who instead oversaw "Project Legacy", a series of publicity and PR runs designed to whitewash the Royal relationship with the middle-east forever. Truly, that level of utter and inhuman vileness is remarkable. Never heard of this, but this might cause me to cut down my grieving period from six months to four.

Tomorrow it is election time in Sweden. Out of 8 party leaders, only one of them managed to not mention the non-event which had no relevance for our country whatsoever.
Incidentally, that's the leader I've already cast my vote for.

But you’ll get a Queen in sweden 💅 slayyyyyyy I guess I'll just have to admit that i don't know what you're making a reference to To your very own royal family. When Carl Gustav dies Victoria will be the new Queen of Sweden. And I’ve read on Wikipedia that your current King was against making Victoria his heir. “A woman isn’t suited for this role” That’s almost like the plot of house of the dragon.

I thought so at first, but then my brain complicated it haha. Probably won't happen too soon, but when it does the monarchy will increase its popularity because she is very well liked. Looking forward to that... And I had completely forgotten that quote, and wonder why he didn't say that in his farewell to queen Elizabeth?

no matter what one's thoughts on the monarchy are; she was a remarkable woman. How? What was remarkable about her? That she lived so long, and just happened to be around when generally remarkable people were actually doing things to change history and make the world better? Never having to do a day’s work, having the best food cooked for you, and your own personal team of doctors on call at all hours of the day and night will lead to a protracted lifespan in anyone, whether remarkable or dull and ordinary—like Liz. Really have a think for a minute. Did she actually do anything of any worth, or have you just been taken in by the idea of this steadfast fairy godmother figure she liked to portray?

To be fair, she gave money to charities that she was patron of. Money that she got from, err. Well, um. Actually, let's not dwell on such unsavoury things at a time of togetherness and mourning. Remarkable woman. Service.

Totally agree and who's going to pay for the funeral us that's who. And, that's another reason why I've never liked the Royals because we're the ones who pay to keep them.

^Aye, jug-eared, swollen-handed c*nt, move it yourself you lazy arrogant fud. Why are his hands so swollen? It's not like he's ever had to use them. The fucker had a grown man squeeze out his toothpaste for him for many years.
Makes you wonder what other services he's demanded from his manservants...

Somebody buy this laddie a pint! I just hope he’s alright. That thug who had hold of him at the end looked like he wanted to paint the floor with him. Always suspected monarchists were vicious bastards at heart. You don’t try so hard to cultivate an image of niceness unless you’ve something rotten to hide.
