Will the Jools broadcast include Live Forever? Does anybody know the original runtime? And did they air the full setlist from that night? Would love to see a BBC sessions album some day. Oasis: The Complete BBC Sessions 1993-2009

Great news about the Jools Holland special and the Right Here Right Now documentary. Finally in digital quality. I still dont understand when people says "it's on youtube". Don't you care for having the best quality possible? Vhs rips uploaded to youtube wirh crappy quality? Sorry, no disrespect. I just don't get it. Alot of people just watch stuff on their phones these days. To them a crappy quality youtube clip in low resolution is "better" because it loads faster and doesn't chew up as much bandwidth.
To the despair of many a filmmaker but yeah, it is what it is. Plus there are always people who are happy to drink cheap wine or listen to a tinny boombox. Same end effect as the more refined stuff, even if it lacks the subtleties that thrill some ...

Well, I already have the Jools Holland concert on blue ray anyway so I don't need to watch it again on TV and I recorded the documentary myself years ago as well as the concert even though I updated the concert and bought it blue ray and I wouldn't be surprised if I have a better version of the documentary some where as well.

Yes finally , re broadcasting Right Here Right Now, gonna tape them both and save them on the Sky Box. How come it’s an Oasis night on the beeb? Some type of Anniversary? They're running Top of the Pops yearly specials from the 1990s every Saturday night. To go alongside those they'll feature a notable artist from that year. This week is 1995 and no-one was bigger in Britain that year than Oasis. Next week is 1996 and the Spice Girls.

Jools Holland 2000 on right now. That jam at the end of Gas Panic is so fucking good.
Also wish WDIAGW sounded like that on the record.

So it looks as though this version of Right Here, Right Now is very slightly different from the original broadcast in that it doesn't have any captions introducing the live tracks or the members of the band. Not sure if anything else is different.

Are they showing on 16:9 format or 4:3? it will be the best versions we have after 25 years of diff rips and sources

Haha, wow, I never noticed before that Liam and Noel shared the microphone in the Top of the Pops performance of Whatever. I thought they only did that once in the Hindu Times video.

Watching the jools gig. Loving it as I did whenxI first watched it as a 16 year old. This is only 3.5 years after Knebworth, feels longer if you compare..

Can it be changed in the settings on a widescreen TV or is that just the way it is ? Some TVs might let you zoom the picture so it fills the screen.

The 4:3 version can easily be blown up in a video editor to a widescreen image by zooming in as much possible. As long as the zooming in goes to the point where only the black bars (top and/or bottom) end up being cropped out then you wouldn't be losing any actual image from the documentary. It would be a slight loss in quality but if this 4:3 version is captured at as high a resolution as possible (not sure what it's being broadcast in) then it should look OK to zoom in a fair bit.

Yeah the Wide Zoom seamed to sort that out into a wide screen pic without much quality lost, happy days, better than the letter box all the way round.

The 90’s songs sounded wrong played by that line up. Like a cover band almost. The SOTSOG songs were perfect for that line up even though Gem & Andy weren’t on the album. Gas Panic & WDIAGW were perfection
