Depends what he's going for.
If it's a polish up of some "classic" Oasisish anthems, then someone who can make the strings sing. Someone like Dave Fridman.
If it's trying to keep that Hacienda vibe going, I think he should maybe go for someone like Jamie XX.
If it's the acoustic record some want- get him over to Long Pond with Aaron Dessner.

But as a follow up- David Holmes was the best thing that happened to him in years.

Aaron Dessner is such an interesting idea. Not just for acoustic -- he and his brother do very beautiful film scores and I think have a similar sense of the cinematic. Wonder if they would get along ...

Would like to see Danger Mouse produce a Noel album. I posted that same thought about both Noel and Liam when Oasis broke up. I was really into this work at that time (2009-2012) but I've soon realized that when it comes to rock production, he is sort of a one trick pony and all those bands he produces kinda all sound the same production wise (The Black Keys, U2, Beck, Michael Kiwanuka, Broken Bells, etc). Probably would have been ok in 2010 but I think Noel could do much better now. I'd be down for him to remix a track later on.

It would be great to have a full hacienda style album indeed. Chemical Brothers etc collaborations would suit my down to the ground.

Good choices Dave Fridmann would be great, all his records sound great, always have really cool drum sounds too. Or even someone like Steve Albini, another guy with a pretty cool signature sound Even though both producers might not suit him on paper compared to what he has done, I think they would be great for a completely different approach to more guitar driven/oasis kind of stuff, Which can sometimes lend itself to fairly generic sounds.

Noel and Oasis badly needed a producer 2001-2004.

But if they COULD get along...damn, that might be magic.

Listening to a lot of blur / coxon lately
Stephen street ? He’s a very careful producer and gives attention to details. It would fit Noel’s record if he released something like a record that sounds like Flying on the ground

Ohh, now you have me thinking about what Rattling Rose could be mixed into, like that Black Star Dancing Skeleton Key remix.

Agreed - he’d tell McCartney when his songs weren’t strong enough or his performances weren’t good enough so he could definitely tell Noel…

Neil Finn's best work was with Crowded House and Split Enz. Mind you, I haven't listened to any of his solo work so I don't know what it's like.
