This sounds too good to be true. I hope they'll release both.

This sounds great and hopefully it's true and we'll get to hear both of them.

Does it mean he'll be releasing both next year, or just one next year and one in 2023/2024? I don't see him releasing 2 albums in one year.

Interesting. I guess he meant that only one of them, better one will be released? Well we’ll see

Is the mad one a collab with the AA? Would be craaazy if he never released that one but put out the other which would be full of material that was supposed to be the 8th Oasis album!!

Well, he hasn't actually MADE two albums--he hasn't even finished one album so far as we know! Anyone can record a few songs in their home studio and end up not doing anything with them. Just sounds like he has some different kind of material and hasn't decided where he's going with that yet. Time will tell. However it works out, it's great that he's feeling all hopped up to make new music.

I mean if one of the albums never get released, which is rather likely, SURELY the material is at least good for B-sides, right?!

This sounds too good to be true. I hope they'll release both. Me too. If he releases both he should release the 'mad' one so he can fall back on the safe. NGHFB suits my needs for expanding beyond traditional oasis, but awesome to see Liam would try it too. He has a lot to gain by doing a 'mad' album. It doesn't matter to me but it might matter to Liam if he can 'one-up' Noel and create an album that we thought the AA album was going to be. Also, if he is interested in modeling his career after Lennon, he would be shifting from just modeling the type of songs to actually going a little mad like Lennon did.

Liam is almost 9 years older than Lennon ever was. Anyway, kudos to LG for getting everyone imagining his "mad album." Even if all he releases is a standard Wyatt/Kurstin mid-tempo/pop/rock/wheelhouse thing, people will always dream about it now ...

Very interesting - I'd say he'll release one and the other at a later date based on that interview. I've always wanted him to do something a bit out there, more rocky and punky, more Greedy soul etc

I just want him to go heavier!!! Queens of the Stone Age style guitars would suit Liam's voice well. The fast numbers we've had from him in recent years have all been boring blues-based riffs.

Who knows what Liam thinks is "a bit mad". That could be anything. Maybe he wasn't joking when he said on twitter he has been playing the harp
