Not sure on where you stand on this, but I love this type of content Not gonna get super detailed stories when you've got 18 tracks to go through, but the little nuggets here and there like when he talks of coming up for the refrain for A Dream make it worthwile As much as I find him extremely funny 95% of the time, it's when he talks music that he really ditches the persona and you can see the deep love he still has for it It's refreshing and fascinating to get a small glimpse of the world of the songwriter whose songs have been such an important part of my life

Another interesting bit is that he considers Wandering Star kind of unfinished. And from the way he talks about the EP songs in general, it seems he was working a bit against the clock to force himself to build the songs in the studio as in WBTM

Could've been on a DVD with the boxsets.

Could've been on a DVD with the boxsets. Yeah. I kind of wish they’d included a DVD with the set.

Could've been on a DVD with the boxsets. Yeah. I kind of wish they’d included a DVD with the set. They could have done a DVD/Blu-ray with all the videos with a track by track commentary as a bonus feature or something, a bit like the Time Flies DVD

Him talking about In The Heat of the moment made me lol. Clearly it's those nananas. I hope one day he revisits it and removes them. It's a banger of a song.

I really like the song and when It’s played live it’s a huge banger. When he first premiered it I was taken back by those “na na nas”. Such a weird way to begin a song. They sound antagonistic in sound. Wish he found a better way to open the tune. Don’t mind them in the middle. It’s just the start.

It is amazing how Noel keeps telling the "Lock All The Doors" story wrong. He didn't give the Chemical Brothers the opening verse from this tune but from "Setting Sun" aka "Coming On Strong".

At this stage I’m convinced he’s aware how annoyed people are at the Tesco and Morrissey stories for LatD and Riverman so he just continuously tells them for the reaction.

I remember that Facebook interview where In The Heat Of The Moment was played for the very first time and Noel, the interviewer and the crowd looked so awkward when it came on. X

And didn't Noel even say immediately after the song ended and he was expected to react, "Well, that was awkward." And then they later cut that remark out a day later or something? I swear I am remembering that correctly because I caught it live.

I love a good Track by Track. This just made me realise how much I dislike Lock All the Doors. There are so many better songs he could have picked.
