Does anyone know of a place to legally download the 2-CD version of Familiar To Millions?
Here in the US, the iTunes version currently available seems to be the 13-track condensed version.

Good luck with that. Try Google and write in the search box something like ' where can I buy the VHS version of Familiar To Millions by Oasis. If you want to buy it of course. Just found a sealed copy on eBay! Someone better not find the doc on YouTube now!! Well that's good news as it's probably hard to find now. Oh by the way there's an interview with Noel in the documentary too.

If it doesn’t change my life I want my money back!! (It was pretty cheap actually)

I originally bought it on VHS (and the cd version) because when it was first released I didn't have a dvd player. I did eventually get one and bought a copy of the dvd version a few years later though.

My DVD is actually misprinted. When you look at the disc it’s Lord Don’t Slow Me Down but when you play it it’s FTM.
I’ve always meant to get FTM properly on DVD.

The setlist wasn’t the best, Liam’s voice could be a little better (I mean it’s good but comparing to other gigs of that era), but the atmosphere was unreal. One fan in the YouTube comments who was there said that comparing to these gigs the Knebworth ones were like funerals. I’m not sure that I’m agree w him but on the other hand he was there and I wasn’t. Also I like that the band looked happy there. Alan White’s smiling face, Noel’s proud and happy face when he was playing Supersonic’ guitar solo and looked at the enormous crowd... The second night also was great but for other reasons lol

Its a shame that D’You Know What I Mean? is missing. It was only played once on the SOTSOG tour :/

Am I the only one who has always thought that Liam sounds horrendous on FTM? I usually like his 1999-2002 voice, but here it just sounds way deeper than even that. I’ve always felt that. I still struggle to listen to it sometimes because he sounds so poor compared to where he should have been vocally in 2000. This was only 5 years after Some Might Say came out. Yes, he has sounded worse (gigs in 06 namely) but for this time in their history, he’s quite disappointing. For me, this was my first live Oasis gig so it was quite jarring to hear him at the start of GLIO and think it’s the same person. But he does have his moments on this gig. That said, everyone else outshines him. Tops: -feels fresh, new line up, rest of the band are on great form -the SOTSOG selections sounded great, even though GLIO was a little clunky at first. The GLIO outro, Gas Panic is immense, and WFL has a ferocity to it live. -I love that Shakermaker and Step Out were included. Stand By Me was a highlight too. -C&A with the intro and outro jams was incredible -closing the gig with CS then RNRS sounded great Flops: -liam sounds fairly poor and is also quite annoying -set list was fine but one more from SOTSOG and BHN wouldnt have hurt

But at the time we weren't used to hearing it that way

I quite like Liams voice in this gig and from around 2000-2002. Of course it sounded different to his peak, but felt it worked well on a lot of the songs. He still had quite a bit of power in his voice then too.
Agree that the set list was pretty boring though. If oasis were to ever reunite I would imagine the set list would be fairly similar to this gig (few songs post 2000 swapped in).

I actually like the set list from the UK leg of the Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants tour. Infact I like all of the set lists from that tour.

Liam voice started to become too nasal, but at the time his voice still had that power to propel the songs, he still could finish the sentences, wish he could still sound like on that Jools Holland 2000 gig at least.
But for me the best thing about that gig was Noel, his voice sounded so powerful on that night, still blows my mind when he sings his parts on Acquiesce, also he sure looked like he was having a great time, that was way before he adopted that bored head down the mic stance on Oasis later years.

I never liked these gigs
I don’t know what it is, it just never seems to really take off. It starts with pretty laid back tunes, which can be fine, but when it finally starts to get going, Liam goes off and Noel is taking over with a pub rock performance of step out and it all goes flat and I don’t think every truly recovers.
It has his moments but overall it all seems a bit flat.

I have a bootleg cd of an Oasis gig in Ireland from 2000 but I haven't listened to it in a very long time.

So it's well known that Noel dislikes Familiar To Millions & there won't be a reissue any time soon, makes no odds to me as I'm happy with my 2CD & dvd. My question is does he have the authority to have it removed from Spotify & other streaming sites if he wanted to...

One of my favourite Oasis concerts.
I think its reputation sometimes suffers because it's officially released and therefore a bit too "obvious".

I've always wanted to know what some of his adlibs are. Not the drunken second night, but from the first one that the album came from. E.g. what does he say before the outro to Gas Panic? Something about being in your fridge??

I am talking about the first night “And there she goes” something inaudible about fridge or sounds like fridge “this and that” is all I can make out.
