In Manc 09 it was the generator blowing up. In Manc 05 it was the barrier breaking during TUTS and Liam was definitely the one who stopped the gig. I was at both gigs. Noel is just simply bullshitting here.

He wasn't talking about the Manchester gig in 2005 though, if that's what you're thinking about. In what other gig did the barrier brake? I don't know but he said the gig was somewhere that sounds like "etsi ad" which doesn't sound like Manchester or stadium and he said it was in 2009. Add to that the fact that the story doesn't add up at all with what happened at the broadcasted and distributed on DVD gig from 2005 where everyone can see Liam stopped the gig, I'm guessing this may have happened elsewhere. He would be somewhat of an idiot to lie so blatantly... Although these days I'm not so sure he's not...

He’s told the story 2/3 times.. all different accounts. He probably does not realise the gig/incident is on YouTube...

Either he's lying or he can't remember which gig it was at. But like we all know and has already been said it was the Manchester one in 2005.

Noel says a lot of shit (Constantly). Lets not get worked up over it. This man once listed the three best songs he ever wrote as: Live Forever, Wonderwall and Magic Pie.

Liam definitely 100% stops the show. I listened to the full audience recording the other day, he also argues with Noel and a guy called Steve a bit later on that the barrier still isnt sorted . It's because of that reason BIOD wasnt broadcast, Liam hardly sings any of it coz he on about the barrier
I was right in the middle of that crowd surge, only ever happened to me twice that bad. Then and Stereophonics in Morfa Stadium 1999
3 minute mark here

When that episode happened, I reflected on how stupid that guy had been to get to make that gesture. Today I realize that Noel is three times more idiotic than that guy!
