Something to look forward too next Thursday, had confirmation the new deluxe set is being sent the same day from his site, should get it next Friday release day. Lucky you. I’ll probably have to wait until the following Tuesday for it to arrive I choose the DHL express option mate, they normally deliver in 24 hrs. Wanted to try and get it before the weekend.

I pre-ordered mine from HMV so hopefully I'll get mine on the day before it's officially released as I've had pre-orders from them before which have arrived earlier than the release date.

Yeah, they are good and quick and I use them quite a lot when I pre-order anything related to Noel or Liam unless I use their official sites of course.

Nah he's gonna play the big ones, probably a 8/4 split between HFB and Oasis
I'd say:
Holy Mountain What A Life If I Had A Gun The Death Of You And Me (first HFB single) Dead In The Water In The Heat Of The Moment We're On Our Way Now Black Star Dancing or Wandering Star
Then Don't Look Back In Anger and Wonderwall and two other Oasis songs, Half The World Away and Little By Little maybe?

On the advert he's playing to an empty theatre, he's playing AKA...WAL! full band or acoustic? He was definitely using his red 335, so I'll say full band. But I don't actually remember seeing the band, I'll have another look tonight see if I can catch it again

Wouldn't mind if Noel said he was annoyed and didn't enjoy touring with the band at that time and I even would understand that in a way BUT I don't know anybody who went to a gig of that tour and said "they should call it a day" afterwards. That's nonsense.
Speaking of the gigs in the UK and Europe(South America, Asia aswell I think) this tour was selling extremely well, headlining all the major festivals too and looking at the period 1999-2009 Oasis were most successfull around that time.

He’s not talking about the people going to the gigs though. He does an knowledge that they were mostly going for the hits though. I’d say oasis sold more concert tickets than CDs in 2008. But the music buying public and critics in general seemed to be sick of oasis and nobody cared. That absolutely was the case. People started taking them for granted. Since they’ve been gone their standing has improved. Supersonic helped cement that. Every day the band remains broken up the bigger the mystic gets. The Stone Roses were talked about in hallowed and reverential tones until the reformed.

I think that's the point though, they were becoming a legacy act, people went to see them but there wasn't much buzz about new music

He’s not talking about the people going to the gigs though. He does an knowledge that they were mostly going for the hits though. I’d say oasis sold more concert tickets than CDs in 2008. DOYS still sold well and even back then people were "buying" less records already. If a huge band that's been around for +15 years puts out a new record it's always more a promo tool for their next tour and mostly hardcore fans are really interested in the new material beside maybe the 1-2 lead singles that get promoted everywhere. Nothing new at all and already the case 10 years ago. It's not like I don't get Noels point and view but he should just admit that HE was simply bored of the typical touring routine - add the circumstances with Liam to that and there you go. I don't blame him for that at all.
