Liverpool, sitting 8th in the table, with nine losses already, are the third worst defending champions in the three decades of the Premier League behind only Blackburn 1994/95 and Leicester 2015/16.
Watching the Scousers commit Merseyside. It’s good fun.

Hmm, to bite or not? Let's wait another year and judge. Winning the CL, PL and FIFA Club World Cup in the last 2 years is tiring work

I think it’s in relation to the record season they had last year. But it’s funny to me that there are some people already calling for Klopp to get fired. They will be back next year, and they’re still in a good position in the CL

I forgot about that Chelsea season. You’re correct. Although while it would be more factually correct to change that to the 4th worse title defense, it’s very hard to have that season considered as that prima donna fill squad intentionally downed tools to get Maureen the sack. Chelsea’s poor season was due directly sabotage to the fullest definition. Liverpool just haven’t performed. Tired from the Coronavirus packed schedule, I suppose. But no other team is struggling to this extent so I’m not sure how valid that excuse can really be.

It's a combination of: Insane number of critical injuries + Overtired players unable to play high intensity pressing + Klopp's Mother dying + No fans due to pandemic. Some of the poor results occurred after the restart last season, so it appears a full pre-season is essential to Klopp's playing style.
