Dear Liam,
I would love to hear you covering New York by Sex Pistols live. You'll smash the song and your guitar player Mike will be able to nail these gitar riff by Steve Jones.
Love you. Cheers. x

The thing is though there's so many great Oasis songs which Liam could sing on his next tour. So really it's hard to pick out just a few best ones.

I do like both Turn Up The Sun and Four Letter Word but I'm not too sure if Liam would actually play them live again. But you never know he might surprise us one day.

I was listening to "Never Mind the Bollcks" when I posted above comment and I thought Liam will nail "New York". I remember that rumour about Pretty Vacant, but I think for Liam solo, "New York" or "I'm Not Your Stepping Stone" will fit.

We've heard Liam's take on Sad Song and D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman plus Don't Look Back In Anger but what about Talk Tonight I would love to hear his take on that. However I'm not too sure if he would actually do it as I remember him calling the song depressing once back in an interview in the Oasis days. So I'm not even sure that he actually likes it.

I just want one track from Heathen Chemistry. Maybe I'm missing something but has he ever played a song from Heathen Chemistry live as a solo artist? If not he could for his next gig tease that he will doing something off of Heathen Chemistry but not reveal it until he starts performing it.
And I am not saying that he hasn't been more than generous with what he has performed as a solo artist. But the fact that he has played Beady Eye songs before anything off of Heathen Chemistry to me is a bit stranger.

I think that Liam has only played two Beady Eye songs Soul Love and World Not Set In Stone. I don't recall him playing anything else by them since he's been solo.

I wonder if Liam actually still remembers about Scorpio Rising. I mean he might have forgotten all about the song. However it would be great if he does ever play it live.

Bring the light was always a good tune live, I'm sure itll be fine. Itll be interesting to hear how it sounds with this band. Could be a real treat if its given fuzzier guitars now that hes got the voice to shout over it (similar to the Soul love rejig). Would love to hear this.

I want him to do anything thats never been done before because the range was too high or whatever. I don't care if its a lot more octaves down than hes proud of, this isn't a big deal to me.
Kurt Cobain had to bring loads of Nirvana songs down when his career barely lasted very long, yet nobody holds this against him. Liam singing I hope I think I know or Stay young in whatever form as long as he can hit the notes easily enough to express himself would be a delight.
We can add Step out and Rockin' chair to that too. The only one that we've seen has categorically not worked in any key other than the original would be Lyla which I think he could nail anyways when on form.

Kurt Cobain had to bring loads of Nirvana songs down when his career barely lasted very long, yet nobody holds this against him. That's because those who post on the internet about Nirvana hadn't even been born by the time Kurt died. Would Nirvana have gone on the same way Oasis did Kurt would've been critisized as much as Liam has. He just happened to die before the internet was capable of documenting his every move.

Up In The Sky is another great Oasis song which I would love Liam to do.

I'd be happy if he included "Let's All Make Believe", "The Turning", "The Hindu Times" and a cover of "Steel and Glass" by Lennon. The latter is a super-underrated, obscure track and I'd love to hear Liam give it more raw vibe, especially that his voice seems to get better these days.

When friends have told me their favorite Lennon track is "Dear Prudence" or "Happiness Is a Warm Gun," I immediately bring up "Steel and Glass" and my appreciation of it. It's an amazing track. Great post.

Well here goes…in this order;
Intro: F****n’ In The Bushes (playback) Set: 1. Hello 2. Rock n Roll Star 3. Wall of Glass 4. Stay Young 5. Greedy Soul 6. Go Let It Out 7. Supersonic/Listen Up 8. Why Me? Why Not (w/ Come Together coda) 9. Let’s All Make Believe 10. Stand By Me 11. Come Back To Me 12. The River 13. Cast No Shadow 14. I’ve All I Need 15. I Hope, I Think, I Know 16. Acquiesce 17. Slide Away 18. Once 19. Roll With It 20. Morning Glory Encore: 21. Cigarettes & Alcohol 22. Live Forever 23. Champagne Supernova 2nd Encore: 24. Wonderwall
Tried to include enough solo tracks, along with some favourite suitable rarities, while not missing any classics. As they’re so similar in tempo/key, i thought Listen Up and Supersonic could be combined into a half-and-half medley.
Close contenders I had to cut were Gas Panic, I’m Outta Time, Four Letter Word, Lyla, Don’t Go Away and Columbia. Also, two that I toyed with but felt might not suit Liam’s live setup these days were Stop Crying Your Heart Out and Misunderstood.

Hello Acquiesce Rock n Roll Star Morning Glory Fade away Listen Up Round are Way/Up In The Sky Cast No Shadow Supersonic My Big Mouth Slide Away Columbia The Hindu Times Go Let It Out Gas Panic Underneath The Sky Some Might Say The Turning Whatever Cum On Feel the Noize encore--- D'You Know What I Mean Cigarettes And Alcohol Live Forever
Swap the order to whatever but these would have to be the songs. I love Liam's solo stuff but it's just not as good as the Oasis material and I'm bored of Wonderwall and Champaign Supernova. This is the dream setlist for me, it's unrealistic but if I could pick 24 songs for him to play live at a concert it would be these.
