It sounds like Liam is happy with the Knebworth film then.

It sounds like Liam is happy with the Knebworth film then. I think we can surmise he thought the crowd was the star by the rest of his tweets. He was less generous towards himself.

You can tell a mile off Wasn't there but sure seemed that way from what I've seen. Just find it kinda fascinating how Liam sometimes glorifies that but other times is a little more ... not critical exactly but candid. For the rest of us it's just exciting watching him in those days no matter what state he's in. But it must be strange sometimes for him to watch it back in his late 40s.

Liam sounded better on the 2nd night, but that jacket he's wearing on the 1st night deserves a movie on his own.

Knebworth is a funny one for me. I think they were much better sounding the previous Spring. Knebworth gets the headlines but Maine Road was the zenith for me. That was the band just firing on all cylinders.

Listening to the 1st night at Maine Road now and it’s just fucking class.

Never liked it when Noel peformed those.

I think it took Liam awhile to get Morning Glory live. That’s why they either didn’t play it or Noel sang it. Maine Road has the perfect set list for me and they just all seemed to be buzzing. I need to revisit the EC gigs though.

Knebworth was a radio broadcast on that hot summer 96 for me.
Will a documentary ruin that ? Will it become just another huge gig where most people didnt see a thing ?
I'm tempted to not watch this when it comes out.

I think the Maine Road shows are locked in SD because they were filmed on tape rather than film. But official CD and vinyl releases with a nice hardback book of pictures from the gigs would be most welcome.

That's true but it was just the way he wrote his first tweet. I know that he was off his head for the second night but I like both nights and think that he sounds good on them.

Liams voice during the knebworth shows were very thin most likely because of the drugs and booze look at the power at maine road and look at the knebworth shows huge difference Correct Maine Road was recorded Digi Betacam but a complete remix from the Multi Tracks would be really nice i think it will happen 1 day i see no point having it under lock and key when you can sell it to the fans who have supported you for so many years and make some coin on the side

A CD/Blu-Ray/DVD release of both nights would be amazing, but that is wishful thinking. Maybe even some recordings of the rehearsal gigs. I seem to remember they rented out a hall to rehearse for the loch lomand and knebworth shows. Surely some of that was recorded.

And the photos look like they were taken from footage. I’d be surprised if the footage doesn’t make an appearance in the film itself!
